I love this app. It’s just I wish it had the option to add gif images to the tweets. Add the option to add gifs!!!

This is a pretty good app with some useful features, which is why I still use it. However, it's had the same pending update for over a week now, and it keeps failing, and it's driving me nuts to not be able to get rid of the red dot. Also, not sure why I get so many ads in Spanish since I only write in English and follow accounts in English or German. UPDATE: I contacted support after they asked me to. No response and the issue is still not fixed. I've been staring at a red dot since October 30 for an update that fails every time. I like Echofon but this is ridiculous and I'm ready to get rid of it if this isn't dealt with. Also, "bugfixes" is not a word. Apparently they can't even spell it, much less accomplish it.

Using this app you have to agree to Echofon being able to do anything you want to do, posting, updating profile, reading direct messages, and posting tweets just to name a few!

Still my favorite Twitter app. Simple and easy to use, I just love the layout. Hope they never change it :) 2017 Edit: please make Instagram tweets show all the photos, not just one. Thank you! Love the IG feature and being able to save photos from IG but it only shows one photo, not all.
Ads are becoming annoying and frustrating again.

You have to repeatedly press the bottom left corner of the screen in the hopes the ad will disappear and you won't jump to the ad or have the link open up in iTunes. I remember a few years ago how some ads were pretty much hijacking the Echofon app and it took many many weeks, perhaps months for the issue to be resolved while the complaints poured in. Echofon was completely silent not even acknowledging there was an issue or that they're working on a resolution. As such, lack of communication and support is fairly common even regarding recent issues. I'm ditching Echofon for good. Friends I know bought the pro version only to request a refund from Apple because of the lack of response and action by Echofon regarding issues. This lack of support, especially among users who paid for the pro version is unacceptable. I guess it's no surprise. Echofon is owned by UBERmedia. Additionally, I think the Echofon Pro app is overpriced and has certain limitations not present in the native Twitter client..which I'm not going to get into. I've written enough. I suggest people try Twitterific or Hootesuite for free 3rd party Twitter clients.

Echofon still doesn't fully support Twitter uploaded videos. Most videos only show as a picture, and will not play. The only way to play them is to copy and paste the url into Safari.

I have had this app for years and I like it! Sure, sometimes the notifications are late/repeats, but overall I enjoy it. Hated The original Twitter for iPhone, I'm even considering upgrading to get rid of ads.
