To setup you Alexa, set location, change temperature units, install skills and view Alexa Cards please use the Amazon Alexa App. (can be free downloaded separately)

Echgo supports the Alexa voice languages: English (US), English (UK) and German.

Echgo currently does not support Amazon Music due to Alexa doesn't allow the use of Amazon Music in apps. Only hardware implementations are allowed to play Amazon Music at this time.

An Amazon account is required in order to sign in and use Alexa service. This is a requirement of Amazon. Echgo is never given your Amazon account credentials.

I really like this app, and I wish I could demonstrate The app for my visual impaired students who use Amazon. I would like to see if it’s possible for the developer to run the app through Apple’s accessibility recommendation tool, maybe that’s all it needs.

Had a problem with app developer contacted me fast and very helpful to resolve my issue, now app works like a charm, very happy with it, connected to my Alexa in seconds, very happy with this app a must have if you want your Alexa or Dot with you on a go, wish this app was also availeble for Android tab's and phones.

Just getting started with Echgo and loving it! All you need to use it is an Amazon account (no hardware necessary). Alexa can provide you with all sorts of information, just by asking (news, weather, synonyms, entertainment, news...the list goes on). Will love this utility more as I continue to use. Thanks for this wonderful app!

The app works pretty well, but the response is noticeably laggier than that of an actual echo device. Also, as a limitation of iOS, the app has to be the active app in order to respond to the wake word, which negates one of the best features of an echo device (hands-free access) unless you always remember to leave this app running in the foreground. The interface has a very clean look when it works, but it tends to get hung up between the home view and the conversation view, rendering both only partially visible. Counterintuitively, this app is configured using the Amazon app, which started out mediocre, then tapered off. Hopefully, this app will actually improved with each update instead of get worse, like the Amazon app. With some trepidation, I'm going to update this app, since I have little to lose. Stay tuned....
