This game is ridiculously p2w...no wonder everyone is quiting this game in droves...was fun but it’s gotten too pricey

The game is great. Unfortunately the developers just don't give you enough resources and you have to pay significant amounts of money to progress. There is in fact a number of $100 purchases available, which I find absurd as I could get a used PS3 and DW8 for the price of a couple of these upgrades. However, I understand that a business has to make money. I just wish we had a little easier experience and a few more freebies from the developer. For example, to "transcend" an officer, which is a necessity to keep continuing late in the campaign, you have to have another officer of the same character and SAME element at the same ultra-high level the original officer is. So the character you've been building up for this for hours? You have to create another exactly like it with the same element, level it up, (IF you can get one that is), then pay a huge sum of silver coins. Another option is to use a "red star scroll" in lieu of another officer, but I've never seen them anywhere in the game, except as a feature included in one of those $100 bundles, which as much as I love this game and am hooked on it I just can't do! I love DW, RTK, and the entire Koei library pretty much, and this game is no exception there. It's great. It should just be a tad bit easier or the developer should be a little more generous in providing the player with the means to progress. Raising my Lu Bu enough to beat a stage of the campaign is nowhere near worth $100. I would feel like an idiot paying that much for not even a game, but an upgrade.

It’s a good game just make minor improvements but I can’t really play it anymore lol GB will kill me.

Too much power creep, too much enhancement creep

The game started out as fun, with clear way to advance your characters. With each iteration and update of the game came even more add one that basically wipe away all the progress you made in the previous version. "Have your natural 5* developed and up to 6*?? Well in this revision there's transcendence and fusion, which is only 10x's the grind of the previous revision. Got that down? well now you can evolve and transcend your legendary weapons just the same. Also with all the grind. Oh now we've added jewelry and costumes, each with new attributes and new growth trees" To be even remotely competitive you have to have each of these items developed and maxed. That's either non stop grinding or lots of money. Well really lots of money because there's no way you can grind that much. Each option grow the grind time exponentially so you're really only left with paying money to advance any. To add insult to injury stats for these aren't readily noticeable in Arena. you think your matched with someone who is similar to you in threat. But surprise they have weapons and jewelry and costume enhancements and can kill you in one hit. Good luck. I mean the core of the game of you taking on and army is still fun. But that aspect has been pushed to the back and made one dimensional. The combo chains and options are limited. it's all about getting good characters from the RNG and then more RNG to progress them up a dozen different trees. It's the ultimate gacha P2W, which is a shame because console DW is so much fun.
