I have a difficult time reading because of eye problems and reading issues due to an injury, so having the Bible verses read to me has been an answer to my prayers. Finally I can “read” the Bible. Thank you!

The price is $39.99 for the year. This app was created with the idea that you are GOING to purchase. They collect your email and data up front and offer a free trial for a week. There is no ability to delete your account yourself if you decide it’s not for you. I believe they should have this option in the account settings but it is not anywhere in the app. There is no clear help button and you have to go searching to find a way to communicate with them. For me, this experience was frustrating. I can’t review the actual content of the app because there was very little you could do before starting the free trial. You would have to cancel in order to not be automatically charged and I don’t do that sort of thing. This review was mainly to tell potential customers about the price since they will not do it themselves. I wish a Bible app would be more honest up front about what they are offering. They could have easily stated what the process was along with the price in the description. Or they could have let you in first and then collected your email and data once you’ve purchased or started the free trial.

I so badly want to give this 5 stars. I love the concept so much. The voices and music are great. The playlists and curated plans are awesome. But unfortunately, the app only works for me 15% of the time. Most of the time no matter what playlist or verse I click on, the bar moves forward but no sounds comes out. When it does work, it often stops playing after the first verse in the playlist and I can’t get it to go through the entire playlist. The queue never works for me. I have tried absolutely everything to troubleshoot and it just doesn’t work. This is my second year subscribing and I’m just really bummed at wasting the money on a false premise. And being stuck listening to subpar recordings. I am having way more issues this year than last year. PLEASE FIX THE BUGS.

I want say I absolutely love Dwell. If you are the busy type and it’s hard to sit down and read this app is a huge help. I love the music you can adjust the volume with the voice and it helps me tune in more I think because classical music is so relaxing. Many apps speak too fast for me and it has an option to adjust the pace so that I am soaking the context in and really getting all the benefits of the word. This app helps my walk with God in a busy fast paced time we live in. God bless!

U can choose any voice version background music it is your Bible to learn the word of God and it is absolutely amazing I love listening and reading and hearing Gods word it is absolutely amazing and I love it

Thanks to all involved in making this wonderful app possible. It’s such a blessing to be able to listen and read along with God’s Word spoken by such a diverse and gifted group of readers including David Suchet (my favorite). The ability to turn music on and off and control the balance between music and voice is brilliant.
