Still Broken

Bkviperl

Regardless of the new update, I am still stuck in the room with the Minotour and floor switch. I respawn inside the room, can't leave before fight, and no way to power up enough to survive. Since that obviously wasn't fixed, I tried the new restart level option. That put me back at the beginning of the level, but I still have barely a sliver of health left, and the first rat I meet kills me with a single blow. Why say it is fixed in the update notes when it clearly is not? Why is there no way to get healthy, like use the coins I have collected which serve not purpose? This game is completely unplayable until the dev fixes it and allows you to somehow regain your health when you get stuck like this. 1 star until fixed.

After the patch there were still a few bugs which weren't a big deal. The game, however, was extremely short and the end fight was only after a few levels. It was only a couple hours of gameplay total; very disappointing.

After update..

I still can not defeat the Minotaur! Have three axes with 4 damage each, and what? Nothing! The Minotaur kills me over and over.

Worst game yet.

Do not waste money on this game. Looks cool, good idea, but took me 1 hr to play entire game. Needs to have more levels and more play time for your money.

Adding another star to my rating

Dad Times Two

The more I play this game, the more I like it. It has nice graphics, is highly playable, is simple but engaging, and packs a lot of atmosphere. Plus, the developer has responded very well to player feedback. There are some bugs, but the game killers appear to be gone, and the developer will surely release more levels. A good buy at any price; an excellent buy at .99

Please update

Really want to give this 5 stars, but still crashes on iPod 4.

Balance is very poor

RandomAaron

I really want to like this game, but the balance seems very poor. Not as in, "It is difficult," but more as in, "Impossible situations." Right now, I am on the third level or so, facing two minnintars (sp?), and I can't hurt them. Even with +1 attack level-up for the duration of combat and two axes, my attack is weaker than their armor, so I do no damage. I can use a $300 card to hit him one hit, but it takes about 6 or 7 of those to kill 1, and I'm now facing 2. I had to restart a level to go back and buy the right cards to get passed the first dude; now on the next level I have two! Did I miss an axe somewhere? I thought I checked every room. I would go down a level to check, but the game won't let you go back levels. My only options at this point is to restart the game from scratch and hope I find something I missed the first time, replay the level I'm on in hopes something changes, or give up the game. I'm on the fence, because I really like it. Only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of one, at this point, though, is that a few others seem to have beat the game, which makes me think I missed an axe somewhere. Still... Very frustrating....

Great Heroquest Callback

Dogsonofawolf

Really well put together little game. It's short, but worth a buck, particularly if you ever played Heroquest as a kid. Even if not, great graphics, good music, intuitive controls and fun gameplay make it an enjoyable hours worth. And the developer is apparently working on expanding it with a roguelike-like level generator and other enhancements.

Fun, but short

Xenopsyllus

Fun game, but only took me about 45 minutes to finish the whole game.

Wish this had been more...

DMMarcus

The game has a good look and smooth controls but other than that, it gets pretty monotonous quick. There just isn't much going on; every skirmish is the same. These are not the dwarves you're looking for....
