Awesome new app

Loving this new app. It’s got all the privacy features I want, plus the color scheme is pretty cool. I’ll definitely be making the switch from iMessage to Dust!

Your security is horrible

Your have ruined what was a good security tool. You have linked it to a cell phone number each time it is opened. If I did not know better I would think you have done this at the governments request or maybe a plaintiff attorney. There is no security here now. If you do not see that then you do not care about securitized communication. I am off to proton emails with full encryption until your brain trust figures out how to keep my cell number out of the system. Opening the app with code words, passwords or avatars is ok. Opening with my cell phone number, home address, copy of my birth certificate or a doctors note is not fine, as you say, it is stupid.
Not as safe

The previous app was much better. The message would disappear after sent not hang in phone until read or deleted in 24 hours!!!! Will not use much of at all.
Update is terrible

Removed the best feature (Auto dust). Deleting messages is not as convenient. They automatically opt you in to “Share insights” which is sneaky. I’ve lost trust in Dust. Why make it worse and more invasive? I agree with others that the interface attracts attention also.

There are many messaging apps but Dust is definitely different and user friendly app. I love the way it looks, the way I got an account (smooth and quick). The best of all you can delete anyone’s messages anytime anywhere!!!! Great product!!!!
Poor private messaging

Before this up grade everything was private. Now, since the new upgrade, you cannot delete the chat room page. Meaning, if somebody picks up my phone and clicks on the app they will see who I have been chatting with. The purpose of this app was to be PRIVATE. Everything was supposed to dust immediately if I so desire. Now it does not. I will have to delete this app because it is not a private app and, therefore, not useful to me anymore. This upgrade ruined everything.

Automatic dusts

The one feature I loved is when dusts automatically disappeared after sending. It seems with the new update that does not happen. Very disappointing

This new version is great. The design is simple and straightforward. The focus is now on the texting, as it should have been. Great work look forward to using again.
