The remote works fine but it won’t connect to my phone. This is really annoying cuz I can’t get as many colors and I can’t get it as dim or as bright as I want. Does anyone have any suggestions?

This app is horrible I can only have 2 colers with the app and remote and the remote is off set with the lights the buttons are wrong whenever you press blue there off and also the lights have no protection and are very easy to break the reason why I gave them *1* star is because at least the fricken lights work.

I initially purchased this device on an ad I saw through Facebook because it said it would work as ambient lighting for my smart 4K television because as it was advertised the lights would be changing colors according to the movies scenery. When I finally did get The light strip and hooked it up to my television only then did I find out that it was not going to work. Super disappointed in this product because of the false advertising on social media.

Like several others I bought this off of a Facebook ad. Ad showed color changing with what was going on, on the TV. This light strip will change with color but has nothing to do with what’s going on, on the TV. It only reacts to sound or static color adjustment via your phone app. Should’ve known it was too good to be true. I bought just a plain white LED strip to go behind the TV years ago for much cheaper and it does a better job of white only. Don’t waste your time or money!!!

I bought these through Facebook because they said and advertised it as ambient lighting for my 4 k tv and that it would go with the colors on the screen. I bought 2 of the expensive ones and they do not connect as ambient lighting. So freaking messed up. I could have bought these same lights on amazon for 1/3 of the price.

Connection will not work at all unless the phone and receiver are touching. If you do get it to connect from a decent distance, connection lasts for 5 seconds!

I honestly don’t know what these other reviews are talking about, my app worked perfectly, but keep in mind I bought the 40 dollar version, I know this app is used for more than one type of lights. The color wheel(which is what most of the complaints were about) worked great for me, obviously some of the colors like brown were translated to more of a yellow tone but that is to be expected. Overall the app worked great other than the music, it seems to just have a strobe light effect no matter what was playing.
