Dungeon Tiles is a strategic puzzle game with minimalism and RPG elements in which players swipe the screen to collect swords, dragons, lives, and gold.

How to Play

Swipe the screen to move all tiles in the arena in the same direction. Combine tiles of the same color to score points. After each swipe, the total value of the combined tiles is added to a cumulative total for swords, dragons, lives, and gold displayed at the top of the screen and a battle begins. In the battle, swords reduce the “dragons” score and dragons reduce the “lives” score. The “swords” score decreases by the value used to attack the dragons. As dragons are slayed, the “experience” bar rises, and when it reaches the top the player improves his/her level. The game ends when no lives remain or the arena is full and no more tiles can be moved.

Features

1. Combo:
When three or more of the same tile are combined, the tiles disappear.
Combine 3 tiles: 2 x points
Combine 4 tiles: 4 x points
Combine 5 tiles: 8 x points (only 5x5 mode)

2. Items:
The gold collected during play can be exchanged for items.
However, each item can only be used once.
E.g.
Remove all dragon tiles from the arena
Multiply the number of lives by two

3. 2 Single Player Mode ( 4x4, 5x5 ):

4. Two Player Mode:
When a player swipes the screen, all of his/her tiles and all of his/her opponents tiles move in the direction swiped. Players can disturb their opponent’s play by moving the opponent’s tiles in the same direction as their own. When three or more sword tiles are combined, one dragon tile is sent over to the opponent’s arena: this tactic can be used to alter the layout of the opponent’s arena and disturb his/her play.

5. Game Center.
Game Center leaderboards and achievements are supported.

6. Twitter.
A player tweets his/her score after the game ends.

The game also provides a kind of math training since quick calculation skills are needed in order to obtain a high score.

Full of promise, write the ending

It seems really fun matching everything up, but the gold collection is horribly poor, not to mention winning isnt programmed into the game. Itll go on until you cant go anymore aka lose no matter what. Also, you should win once you fill the board but have your dragons at 0 instead of the lame gold digging method.

I'm lost

After completing the tutorial I still have no idea how to win the game. For some reason most of the help views are locked. Nice looking and might be fun but not if It won't tell you how to win.

Very good

Nice simple. It doesn't really matter that it's dungeon tiles though. Could have just as well be jelly beans, or football players, or zombies. Story line could be there more. I like it a lot though.

Dungeon Threes!

This is such a good game. If you love Threes and Dungeon Raid, you will love this game! Just get it and enjoy!

Great, except for the gold/items
AppUnwrapper

I'm addicted to this game, but I've had to restrict myself to not using any items to make it feel balanced. Please make a separate leaderboard for that? It's silly to have a cumulative gold storage to buy power-ups, especially when you can earn tons of gold by watching ads. Either scrap the items altogether or wipe the gold clean after each game and get rid of the silly gold-for-ads that amounts to the same thing as pay-to-win.

Great game, try it out€£¥

This game is pretty fun. I like how it's similar to 2048 but it has a different concept to it. And the artwork is amazing I love the little kinda fire particles in the background and when you combine stuff.

An interesting take on tile combining
ashenol

Title says it all, this game is a very interesting take on the tile combining genre that has popped up after the advent of the fantastic Threes!. However... 1. The game field needs to be larger. A 5x5 grid would have worked much better than 4x4. 2. I love simple complexity in games, and this title has it in spades. That said the game makes no attempt to explain the in game math. 3. The thing that really makes the tile combining genre click is the puzzle factor. Problem is, this game lacks this. The reason is simple. Unlike the aforementioned Threes!, in Dungeon Tiles, the tiles move all the way across the board with each swipe. Yes, the puzzle element is still sort of there, but dumb luck plays a much greater role in the outcome of each match. 4. My biggest frustration I saved for last, because it is inherent result of the aforementioned issues: matches have a tendency of being appallingly short, especially when a player chooses to avoid using power-ups. A good mobile game shouldn't last too long, but when your match ends in the first 15 seconds, there's a problem. You may like this game. Despite my frustration, I must acknowledge that there's an interesting concept underneath all the FTP crap covering this title.
