Starts great but ends badly

Had this game for a year or so and loved it. Enjoyed building up the characters and taking on new levels. However, once you get to the max level for your profile you don’t get the joy of being able to defeat all the levels. Many of the “hard” difficulty ones are just simply impossible. Also, they keep coming out with new characters and giving them to you so you never fully grow your existing ones. Furthermore, its nearly impossible to upgrade your players with Evos, they are just too hard to build up over time. Really sad death to this game when you reach the highest level. Such a tease because there are still more “hard” levels but they are unbeatable. SO frustrating I recommend you don’t bother getting invested into it.

Great game, just that takes way too long. They took out the honor portal, which basically trashed the idea of the honor system. You can craft runes and evos, but they take an absurd amount of resources. Also, the level gap between dungeons in the quests is just way to big. Great game if you want to spend lots of time on it tho.

I’ve been a long term player. I’ve played over two years. Dungeon Boss was my absolute favorite mobile game. Then the update happened. At first I was optimistic and excited, after all I had taken a 3 week break and I love new updates, and some things were good. I liked the materials added in the pvp honor shop. The different categories of hero rarity were cool (bronze, silver, gold, legendary). But 90% was bad. First was the removal of the honor summons and the VIP portal. Those really helped me get where I am now and provide more ways to obtain the games essentials. Second is the way the heroic summon is set up. The devs put every single hero in the game. At my level (I am 53) you already have most (if not all) of the weaker heroes. The heroic summon was supposed to be a place to get the top tier heroes that improve you team. Now all I’m getting are bronze shards of heroes I stopped using at level 25. Not to mention the heroic summon costs gems, and you mostly have to buy those. You can get small amounts here and there, but not enough to get 1x heroic summon in a month, let alone 10x. This portal used to have only 20 or so heroes and 90% were good. The portal system is ruined. The chances of now getting a that legendary you wanted are below 1% where they used to be 8%-12%. Back then the portal cost the same, and I had no issue because of the hero content, but now if you want a chance of getting a good hero, spend a couple hundred $. Third is the ascension system. Needing a certain stat level to ascend is ridiculous. It severely slows down the game. Ascending has a much more significant effect on a hero than a stars do. Even thought the token amounts needed to unlock and star up heroes is lowered, its now super hard to obtain tokens of heroes other than bronze and silver heroes. This is because of the terrible portal system and that you can’t refresh dungeons for more tokens. Fourth is a smaller problem, but a still a problem. The streak system has been removed from the pvp battling. With the streaks adding more trophies on to my win, I could advance faster than a crawl. But after every battle, (even if I’ve done 10 in a row) it still says 0 and gives me the base amount of trophies. This is an annoyance that just serves to slow down the game. Fifth, the shops don’t have anything good in them. I used to be able to get hero tokens from both the honor shop and pwn shop. They have both been disabled. It’s not cool to save up all your hard earned honor and pwn points only to get minuscule amounts of materials and evos. I don’t even do tower of pwnage anymore, and all my honor goes to the six totems (1 of each!) for my epics. Ridiculous! That said, I have the game 2 stars because it can still make changes and become great. This is really for the devs and I really hope the game changes. I’m still keeping the game for now, in hopes of things turning around. It’s sad to see a player who’s been at it for 2 years have to delete the game because of money issues. Other players have been at it for longer than 2 years. Please make the game back to its original self!!!

This game is genuinely a must-play, and you really are missing out if you haven’t played it yet. Its unique trait system allows people to easily make synergies. The ascension system adds in the small amount of grinding while still being great. And there are even more countless features. Dungeon Boss is updated often enough to be fun, and the events that appear during holidays and special occasions are cool. The daily events also adds in that difference between each day. New characters come in every once in a while, and they almost always are balanced. The overall design of everything in the games are amazing too. I love the pixelated designs that somehow don’t resemble other pixelated games much. The customer support is great too! Once, the creators took the idea of a fan-made character, and actually put it in the game!! (Jibber Clenchjaw) However, the game can become very unbalanced. Late-game, the battles in campaign get extraordinarily hard, and has caused me to restart several times, each time getting to about levels 60-80... Even so, this game is amazing and should be tried by almost everyone who loves video games and has the time to play them!

The game is great but it was a big problem the game takes way too long to load easy it’s nice to put a lot of content into the game but bad if you put too much content that it won’t even load but like I said the game is ?

Most games, with a similar basis to this one, have an energy bar that lets you play for 5, 10 minutes. After that it’s either (a) you spend money restoring energy or (b) close the app. Those games have a shelf life of a month or so on my phone. Dungeon Boss is completely the opposite. I have never reached a point where my “energy” was at zero because of the many ways in getting more energy. Even without this, there are multiple options of play where energy/stamina is not required. This is a very specific feature of Dungeon Boss, but a good example of how the developers’ intentions are not in-app purchases.

After time I get sick of most things movies, tv shows, music, and obviously games. I have started over several times because I get to s point and can’t even touch the icon. But in a couple of months after trying what amounts to pale imitations of Dungeon Boss I always come back. And even though many elements are the same the new characters change it so that it’s almost a new game. So I spend the money again with (almost) know regrets. When I review games my most important issues are how long till you lay out cash and if it is worth the outlay once you do. This game lets you get into it and understand the different inner games that make a game fun until you have to spend a lot and when you do spend you get value for real money even if your an idiot who buys the same thing over and over.

I love this game because it gets weekly updates, the other people that play this game and use the global chat are helpful and usually kind you can always earn at least one good reward everyday if you try hard enough and you can be in a guild that will let you get even better rewards. This game is really ideal if you wanna past the time or just wanna enjoy something new. But if you really wanna progress fast in this game you will have and I mean HAVE to pay to get better characters, more stamina to keep beating dungeons and more gems to have a chance at getting a good character. Not only that I did mention earlier that being in a guild is a good thing only if it’s in the top 100 out of all the guilds in the game. You have to be in the top 100 if you wanna earn a decent reward in events that occur every so often. Some people could call that challenging or annoying and I would agree it took me a while to find an actual good guild but it’s almost guaranteed you will never get into a top 10 guild because 1. You wont be accepted unless you have a line app. 2. You have to a have high level (max level of 80) to even have a chance of being accepted not only that but the very top guild SKYNET has cheaters in their guild! A player in the global chat was saying how they were kicked out of their guild because they accused SKYNET of being a guild of hackers his guild wanted him to be quiet about but he didn’t want his guild to lose in the event going on so his guild instead of supporting him kicked him outta of the group he also claims that SKYNET has control over some guilds which would make sense considering the unfair power they have. The weak get weaker the strong get stronger guild wise anyways this game is good but this needs to be stopped immediately and new players need a chance in this game without having to pay yeah a 10x summon is okay for the start but will that help you forever? No not at all...please don’t let this get ignored. Btw if anyone from SKYNET wants to get at me the name is BIGGChungus.
