It's very usefull app. My advice to developers is to improve it with a posibilty to add subnotebooks to the existing notebooks

Considering it has only been out for 9 months, it has grown from an app with potential to one I'm finding myself using everyday to capture ideas. Be sure to add the app to the "send to" button in safari and add it to the "today" widget. My only criticism is that the todo functionality seems like it should be a separate app. This app is another good reason to choose a Synology NAS.

great evernote replacement, that stores notes in own nas. problems: copy paste does not work, pasted text appears lower-sized formatted, which is completely ugly and so copy paste is impossible the tab functionality is weird. it intents all text, undo does not work either. once bugs are fixed, ds note is a primary reason to stay with a synology nas system.

Great app on symbology however the current version will close immediately on opening. Perhaps not updated for latest iOS ?

The concept of cross os with private note storage and directory creation is an excellent idea for all sorts of web article clippings: legal, medical, coding and so on. Waiting for the power of editing the clippings to get rid of the advert crap then save the edited version and it will be superb: no need for instapaper or pocket! - They will be history. Love it. Zero stars...Don't waste your precious time! This is the most broken note taking app I've ever used. I've been using it for work, and I've lost so many notes due to the poorly executed syncing process. On top of that, I've lost a great deal of time and productivity because this app randomly re-formats, adds extra spaces & lines, and generally eff's up the entire note. Once I tried copying a broken note into a Word doc to save it from getting lost like so many other notes, and I discovered that DS Note had added over 3000 pages worth of blank lines in between random lines of notes, and I had to go through this entire document deleting lines to return it to it's original state. Never again!

Worked. Then stopped syncing. Then worked. Seems like they are having a problem developing a server/client protocol that consistently works. Can't add to shared notebooks even if you have modify permissions to it. Even though you can modify existing notes in shared notebooks. Scratching my head. Might just look for an alternative.

This app is trying to be too many things and not succeeding. It has potential but is missing critical features like search. It also doesn't save credentials between restarts which is really annoying; it needs Touch ID integration. Finally, the Share integration in iOS is broken; it tells me I need to sign in and link my DS first even though I have done this.
