I speak Cantonese and have been playing with it to test it and it’s pretty legit. Will see if I can be consistent and maybe dip into mandarin

As a half-Thai trying to brush up on my Thai, I can tell you that no native speakers were involved in the making of the Thai Drops option. For example, in the food section, I didn’t see any ส้มตำ, no ผัดไทย. What I saw were Western food, like pizza, hotdog, soup... The word given for wall was กำแพง. Sure it means wall, but specifically, it means exterior wall or fence. No clarity was given... ผนัง is the word for interior wall. Sure, maybe drops covered other languages more accurately. But with the careless attempt at Thai, I wouldn’t trust it.

All it takes is 5 mins a day and you can learn words in a different language pretty easy. Simple and Fun!

The app is cool and all but I don’t like that you have to buy premium because I am not going to wait 10 hours to do another 5 minute session.

Giving only five minutes to free users basically does nothing for language learning. At least give 20 or 30 minutes so that we’d know if we’d want to pay for the full experience. I’m not going to pay if I don’t fully know if this app is helping me.

I have been learning Japanese for a while now. I haven’t found an app for kanji so I downloaded this one. They teach you both readings of the kanji and I really like it! The app even teaches you how to write it. Which a lot of other apps fail to do....
