Ignore the 5 star ratings.... they are from the product owner, employee or friend. I wish it did work because I don’t want to spend the money on an Apple device when anything should work.

The app will not load anything on the screen like it does on my iPhone to update the software. Nor is the plug n play compatible with iPad. There is no sound.

Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn’t. A complete waste of time and money. Download the app and still get noting but advertisements.

Bought this item on Facebook marketplace. Was a bit skeptical about the purchase but wanted to try it. Glad I did! It works with all my monitors and TV. Last night went to my girlfriend’s house, connect my phone, this unit, and her HDMI cable coming out of her tv and we enjoyed watching HBO Max, Netflix, and other videos through my phone. Just make sure you have Wifi, if you don’t want to eat your data plan. CONS- the update app that you need to download, doesn’t really tell you, which uploaded to update, making it confusing and time wasting (if you update everything they have).

I was directed to this via a QR code on a TV and the app did absolutely nothing but play a sketchy sound out of my phone speaker and not update anything whatsoever. Do not install this sketchy app.

Guys I updated the software version and my dongle stopped working… is this how it was supposed to work ??? If not can somebody please help me revert back to no SW version installed so that my hardware dongle start to work ??

Instructions? Ha! I followed the instructions of other users, downloaded and installed every update on both iPhone 12 and iPad 4. Nothing worked. Returning to Amazon for refund.

I’ve just bought the lightning adapter to HDMI and it worked for just 30 days and then I’ve updated from the sting cast app as the QR code redirected me .. and then it sticks on the QR code on the screen and it dosen’t show anything on the screen .. thank you for wasting my money on this stupid product .
