DriveSense, Great App

Road pal

Drivesense is an app that keeps driver in check for a better driving skills. It alerts you of any infarctions on the road that you make. It makes you to focus on the road and avoid any distractions that may risk your driving. Great App.

This app

MeMissKeisha

This app is accusing me of a lot hard breaking. Every time I get on my car this app says it's a risky time to drive. If I waited for a safe time to drive i would be better off selling my car. And too its not connecting my apps together so esurance has none of my readings. Dislike this app at this time.

Needs to be only for my car

my forgetfulness

I forget to turn off when I get into some else’s car. Wish it would only turn on for my car.

The new feedback messages are presumptuous at best ?

trishfish

What’s with the new feedback messages? Totally presumptuous. I know I’m out driving but recommending me to take public transit instead is ridiculous since I’m obviously already paying for a car and car insurance and don’t want to be wasting time in public transit. Also “spending less time driving during the week will have a positive impact on your wellness”. What the actual f? You don’t know any of that. Please just stick to telling me if I drove well or if I didn’t. Don’t impose your presumptions of “wellness” in my life.

Terrible

jkmarek

This application is absolute trash. If I drive at exactly 70 mph or more, I get dinged and the app says that I "drove over 80 mph". It is grossly inaccurate. A large portion of my daily commute has a 75mph speed limit. I have to drive at 68-69 mph on cruise control like a jackass while people get angry at me because I'm not even attaining the speed limit!!! I think this may be an iOS or iPhone hardware issue. In the past, I used an app that uses my phone GPS. This app also displayed my current speed. It was always about 9-10 mph too high. I know I don't speed. First, I use cruise control. And secondly, the speed I enter on cruise control ALWAYS matches that of my GPS enabled radar detector. I've been using this app for 8 or so months, and it's been grossly inaccurate the ENTIRE time. My wife has the EXACT same issue, except she drives the speed limit and doesn't care about getting dinged by this garbage app.

I personally appreciate the feedback. Makes you think when you get behind the wheel...

Hard braking feature

Mella2134

Hard braking is really sensitive and the system doesn’t understand if someone pulls out in front of you or someone cuts you off you have to apply the brakes in a more aggressive way to avoid a collision. They should be rewarding you for this.
