The app isn’t great you can see that already. This most recent round of updates has made it so the app signs you out every single day. So not only do you have to think far enough ahead to wait fifteen minutes. Now you have to re-sign in every single time. They seem to be purposefully making it harder to use to get more money out of people...
Correct Login Credentials Are “Incorrect”

Using my proper login credentials (even copying and pasting at times) prompts the app to give an error message that I’m entering the wrong username or password. This has been happening for at least a month. The only option that works for me is the website, which makes the app completely useless.

Like advertised it doesn’t work at all. Can’t even register my car. Online discount is impossible to use!

I can’t register by inputting my information. These lanes are literally highway robbery and you can’t get to a human to help you save money.

Where to start? First off, scheduling does you no good. I schedule a week in advance - every time period. The app drops the schedule on a particular period and lonand behold, you are charged full price. Customer service? FORGET ABOUT IT!!! You can’t reach a live person. The refer you to the NTTA for billing questions and guess what? They won’t deal with TEXpress issues. My best advice? SUE CINTRA for every error! That’s the only way to get their attention. Do it in small claims court - get your money back, paid for your time and trouble and they have to reimburse court costs. Not to mention they must hire an attorney. If it costs them $7K every time they rip someone off of a few dollars, they will stop.

Won’t let me login saying there is a new version but there isn’t according to App Store so yeah the app is currently useless. And seriously 15 min wait to turn it on? 10 min wait to turn off? So if I drop someone off and get back on the highway I’m stuck not using the express lanes because you Won’t turn it off immediately. Bs.

If you want the discount, you have to go on to the app at least 15 minutes before you hit the toll road. I'm taking the toll road if there's traffic, otherwise it makes 0 difference in my commute. I usually don't know the traffic situation until I'm right there!!!
