A whole new genre I love.

I have been "playing" for two days now and I really love Dreeps. This is my new daily companion. I no longer have time to play video games, but it's very nice to have a video game that will play itself while I work. The art and interface are really beautiful. This is definitely the best app I've downloaded in a long time. Please be aware that you won't be interacting with this game much, and that's the entire point.

The games great but,

Can there be a little bit of a customizable feature to main character? I understand you really don't do anything but send him to bed, but can we also have gender options? Different Clothing or weapons?

Simplistically awesome

Colinswags

This is a beautiful interactive experience. It's like Godville in a way that it basically plays itself. I hope that more content gets added over time, maybe equipment or skills as the character levels up?

Alarmingly good

First and foremost, this is not a game, it is an alarm app. Outside of giving your robot a name, there isn't much else to do other than check in on occasion, think of the days of interactive screen savers like fish tanks and gardens. The game looks amazing and the music is pleasant chip tune ambient stuff. The world your character is in is varied enough to make you wonder how big this thing actually is. Well worth the price and I hope to see continued support from the developer; just 3 guys from TOKYO.

Thanks 8-4!

Heard about it on the giant bombast, made an instant purchase, loved it

Such an awesome idea

The music and art style are both fantastic. I especially enjoy checking from time to time just to see what robot boy is up to.

First "game" I've enjoyed in a while

Dayoshwii

First "game" I've enjoyed in a while. I'm sick/tired of all the same games being re-hashed and re-skinned. Not that's this is a game exactly, but a fresh take on an alarm clock. Don't buy with expectations of something hugely entertaining for long periods at a time. I buy one or two games a year and usually regret them. This is definitely not the case. 5 Stars

It's great but ....

Someguy that play's this game

The game's great but it feels like it's missing customizable gear, character, because your guy isn't unique it will be the same robot for everyone it's original and creative but lacks of difference between games i mean my robot will look exatly the same as the other players.

Interesting

nasa is out of this world

It's a tamagotchi with an alarm. The alarm isn't great. The part where your companion is beating the montesla's is great. I've got one last boss to fight/companion to get but I'm old and get tired and can't stay up till midnight. Still as boring as before but it's pretty and "catching them all" has kinda gotten me into it more. Worth the $3. --previous review-- It's an interesting concept. I don't have much time to play games anymore so I was hoping this would scratch the itch. I haven't gotten to a boss yet but I have seen battles. I'll be curious to see what else is added as the game continues. The one thing that is a little disheartening is there isn't a whole lot of any type of interaction. It's a game that plays itself. I'd rather have a few prompts if I'm actively looking at the screen or add a 5 second delay if the screen is active for someone to interact.

Fantastic concept

I admire the folks who made this- the experience stays with you even after the app is closed. It's gentle and calming, despite the little battles the robot faces (though I don't feel these battles are really necessary). It's nice to know my little side kick is living a rich life is some alternate dimension.
