The nostalgia is nice until you get to the 3rd or 4th falling platform section and die every time no matter what due to poor program timing

A not so good port of the original game.

Dragon’s Lair was a arcade game that used revolutionaly technology by using massive discs to output video. It was the grandfather of quick-time events. The game received a sequel and spin-off known as Space Ace, both didn’t do so well due to the Video Game Crash of 1983. The original game got so successful that it recieved many ports, most infamously, the NES version. As technology evolved, we got the console versions, the Steam version, and this version. The iOS version is not very good. Even though the entire game plays exactly like the original, it seems that the window of when to hit the correct button is offset from the video, resulting in cheap deaths. It would be cool if there was the ability to play the infamous drawbridge scene, but that most likely will not happen since this game hasn’t been updated in years. If you’re looking for a good port of the original Dragon’s Lair, this is definitely not one of them. I would suggest playing the console versions or the Steam version of the game.

I remember the arcade. The game is way too difficult because there is Very Little reaction time to hit the direction arrow and sword command!! I put this on Easy more and reaction time is still minimal.

Still bugged

I get to the final elevator before the dragons lair, which requires 9 inputs. Even when the game registers that I’ve made all the correct inputs (giving me green arrows), I die anyway. They need to fix this.

Falling Platforms keep repeating. Once you revisit continued game the score counter keeps moving then it kicks you out of the app. Revert to version 1. It worked so much better.

Worst $5 bucks ever spent. That includes gas station sushi

Just...wow. I’m trying to play. What I get is KILLED within 5 seconds. Controls are NOT responsive. Can’t move. Can’t swing the sword. On iPhone 7 plus. It’s a crap port of an excellent game from my childhood. Completely unplayable. Shoulda read the one star reviews.

Love the game (like others). Played for 15 minutes and fell into the elevator loop (again like others)... my bad for not believing other reviews. But figured new version took care of the problem. Nope. Anyone know how to get my $5 back?!?

Has a glitch right before rescue
