A disappointing game

Tailscats

I love the original very much but this falls short in several categories. First there are still glitches that need to be fixed, one is the stage where the floor drops out several times and gives opportunities to jump. I hit the bottom on the exact time and he doesn’t jump and I fall to my death every time and can’t advance. The second is I already purchased this game from the App Store and it still charged me $4.99 even though I already own the game. I will be addressing this as well. The sound and the visuals aren’t in sync which is kinda odd. Overall this game needs some major love poured into it by the developers if its going to hold a candle to its former glory.

Not working

roro45$

Sounds not working

See this before buying!!!

ndirushguy21

This game is Only for people who have a fast reaction time so if your slow don't buy this, but if you are going to not buy this please buy this because it's fun for your friends and yourself because it's so action-packed because every room is randomized and the Amazing art is so nice if the game was pixelized you wouldn't feel a lot when the guy dies but the artwork makes is feel so horrible when the guy dies but some of the death scenes are just recycled from other scenes ( this was probably just for space and money and time ) so it's worth 5.00 $ on iPhone so I would buy it and I did and it was made it the 80’s for arcades so it's a little fuzzy but I don't mind and you can watch the entire game and see all of the death scenes and what you were supposed to do

Controls are ridiculous

TechInTx

Way too difficult to use the direction and sword controls on the touch screen. Even on EASY mode, game is impossible. Wasted $4.99 and played the game for all of 3 minutes before uninstalling.

Help Stuck

Is there an update the platforms like the other review I get perfect then still die

Bugs make it limited

Lotus17j

The platform glitches aren’t cool. The game is unresponsive to commands and you just keep smashing into the floor. Thus making it impossible to move past that level. I suppose if you just relabeled the game as 50% of the real game that would seem fair. Or perhaps not dragons lair at all since no player will actually get to see the dragon.... glitch lair - yes that feels right

No sound at all

sanch101899

The sound on this game does not work at all. No effects or music. When I wrote to the company’s tech support they responded telling me to turn the volume on my phone up as if that wasn’t obvious. This game is a classic and I really wish it worked but it does not play any sound. I’m going to write Apple for a refund.

Game and movement speed increased by two

NorthWinterhold

The game and movement speed is increased by two. Gameplay and artwork is identical, but reaction time is decreased by two times original 80’s game speed. I own two Dragons Lair coin-op machines from the 80’s. The laser disc version and the PCB version. I have compared the two originals and the mobile version and there is quite a difference in game speeds. You must react extremely fast to complete a move. The controls for this game are difficult to get use to and are very close together which makes it hard to play. The sword button is in a perfect location so that is fine. So just beware! If you purchase this game don’t expect it to be just like the original. Only thing that is exact is the graphics. The sound is different as well. Hope this helps you all. Game On!

2020 Still glitching

Redfinger

Falling platform still glitches.

Don’t discount the comments

Rottiland

The game won’t go past a certain point. Don’t try it you’ll regret it I promise you. I thought they might have fixed it. Nope!! Not in the several years that the apps been out. Don’t wast your money.
