One of the best iOS games ever

I love this game.

Nice Dig Dug remake

Simple but fun and interesting enough to keep me playing. The cave-ins are my favorite.

Good. Gets old because lack of content

CalvinS5031

This game is good but get boring after a while. I have lost interest in it almost completely. I think that this game has opportunity to expand. I would say this game is not worth buying currently. I could happily throw out to the builders of this game many ideas to make this game more fun. One annoying thing, I think that the 100 saved high scores prompting “it’s a new high-score” should be limited. Basically feels like I’m getting the high score every game. It should be changed because there should only be ONE “high-score”.

Very good

Forces purchase in the middle of winning

Cool-Craigowitz

I really liked this game at first. The part I don’t like is right I’m the middle of winning, at least at the end of the first level and as your dropping down to fight the dragon, the game freezes and it prompts you to enter your Apple ID and purchase, or quit. Such and underhanded and sneaky tactic. Mind you this game is a copy from a game called Dig Dug from the 80s. I can’t delete this game fast enough.

Great game excellent mechanics and storyline

I had no idea how good this game was gonna be when I first got it but now I know it’s one of the best on the App Store. You see when I was a boy my grandmother had an island when I was a boy. Nothing to boast of. You could walk along it in an hour. But still, it was - it was a paradise for me. One summer, I came for a visit and discovered the whole place had been infested with rats. They’d come on a fishing boat and had gorged themselves on coconut. So how do you get rats off an island, hmm? My grandmother showed me. We buried an oil drum, and hinged the lid. Then we wired coconut to the lid as bait. The rats come for the coconut, and they fall into the drum, and after a month, you’ve trapped all the rats. But what did you do then? Throw the drum into the ocean? Burn it? No. You just leave it. And they begin to get hungry, then one by one they start eating each other, until there are only two left. The two survivors. And then what - do you kill them? No. You take them, and release them into the trees. Only now, they don’t eat coconut anymore. Now they will only eat rat. This memory is very similar to the story of the game and I hope that this will draw you in. Thanks for reading this and have a good day.

Doug Dug: “the duality of man”

TheRekonator

Throughout hours of gameplay I have pieced to together bits of the lore to discover the games/Doug’s theme/message. When you start the game you see a serene sunset with the last bit of twilight kissing the open plains of the land. This god given beauty doesn’t satisfy Doug, for he is human, and we are sinful creatures distracted by greed and lust. Doug is drawn to the riches of the underground despite it environmentally ravaging the land. He braves hellish creatures of the deep and even lava simply out of lust for the splendor and wealth of the earth. Eventually, you/Doug perish, and in your last moments, you’ll always wish you stayed at the surface.

Hmmmm

I got this game free a few years ago, my high score was almost 1,000,000, but since then the guy that made it started changing it, and fixing it so u can’t win anymore, it’s not a very fun game anymore, it doesn’t let you win like you did before! If you’re about to die your guy will be held there until the stone hits him or something else kills him, anyway it’s not the same so don’t even download it

Great game. Deserves more attention.

Upper west

This is a really fun game and deserves more attention. This is one of the oldest apps/games I keep as the gameplay keeps you coming back. I’m happy and amazed the developer has kept updating as long as they have. Keep it up!!
