It won’t save

Jellycoat

When I was drawing I was arranging my palette when I came back all the work I did didn’t save so I drew it again. When I came back to the app, my drawing didn’t save. I hope you can fix this problem thank you.

Best pixel art app by far!

I usually don’t write reviews, but this app is so amazing I felt I had to. The interface is very convenient, and the drawing system, while different from your average drawing app, is actually really easy to use! It also prevents you from swiping accidental lines and lets you draw evenly. The posting feature is pretty nice, and lets you share your artwork with other users of the app. When starting a drawing after picking a size you can choose a starting palette you can adjust to your liking or many preset ones that look very pleasing to the eye. Probably one of the best things about this app is that the developer actually responds to issues and fixes them, as well as adds new features frequently! The core things I feel this app is missing are the abilities to choose a custom canvas size and have more colors to set. It also really, really needs a messaging system, since most recent art is buried under arrows pointing to a message for someone. Overall, this app is certainly the best I’ve come across, but it’s very hard to get your art actually noticed amidst the chat threads.

Pen mode why did you delete it

I need the pen mode back please. This is stressing me out

Great app with room for improvement

I used dotpict for a while now, and I just love the way you draw things on the canvas. It is really smooth and easy to use. That is the reason why I am sticking with dotpict for my pixel arts. But there is definitely a few things the developers should consider adding into the app. 1. Importing pictures. It would make creating pixel art so much easier if we can import pictures into the app, 8 bit painter recently added this feature, and I really hope the developers of dotpict add this into the app. 2. More pens. You only get 15 pens and one back ground color for one pixel art. If you are familiar with pixel art, that is far from enough! So please add a way to save more colors I know I am asking a lot here, but I think these are some features that would make this app so much better! And thank you developers for creating such a awesome app without putting any charges features into the app!

It’s fantastic

This app is great! It runs smoothly and is really fun to use! Makes using it a good time!

I’m really trying

This is the best pixel art app I’ve found, the variety and customization for the pallets is great. The canvas sizes are perfect and the controls simple. The new pallet saving and sharing system is fun, but the app is unusable for me. When I’m in the canvas, my brush keeps glitching to the bottom left corner. I can’t control my brush and it pushes the “Dot” button randomly. The app randomly crashes when it doesn’t have a WiFi signal. I really want to use this so I hope the devs can fix it.

Absolutely Lovely

I enjoy this app so much and I'm very proud of the works I make here. It is very simple and easy to use and I think that is the best part about it. I have no wishes or Issues.

Best pixel art app I've found

pfg-

So many others are really annoying because to do anything you have to zoom in and tap exactly where you want yor pixel to go. With this, you can just drag around the pencil cursor and get it where you want without your finger in the way. 4 stars because - 128x128 canvases are laggy (iphone SE) - transparency isn't supported (you need to do a solid color background and use another app to replace it) - you can only zoom in powers of 2 (instead of a smooth 2 finger zoom) - you can't disable the grid when zoomed in - you can only use preset sizes when making a new canvas (no option for a custom size, I have some that span multiple canvases so they can be non-square, you need to stitch them together in another app) - you can't resize canvases after making them (would be really nice, I have a few 64x64 canvases I want more detail on) - you can't convert drawings to pallettes or the opposite

This is a rather nice app, especially for drawing, yet I think it should have some sort of comment system.

Good!

I like this app a lot and it’s one of the best pixel apps ever. It lets you make your own art and view others. I recommend it
