Idk if it’s just my phone, a bug, or if I’m being dumb but when I try to make a new pixel drawing thing it says that there’s no content or something and it just confuses and bothers me - So is there some way I can draw or..idk

Dotpict is literally so cool. I have been looking for a good, free digital pixel art platform and here it is! If you are reading this review and thinking of downloading it, I HIGHLY recommend it. The community is amazing, it’s easy to use, and has a very thorough tutorial. You can also publicly post your art to the community, or just keep it to yourself. One thing that might be a little tough is finding out how to find the “finished” button. I feel like it should be a but more obvious, but it’s overall a great app. Highly recommend!

This game is so awesome! I have to admit it’s so simple and amazing at the same time! This app has lots of great work put into it! There is just one thing that could make it even better. Can you please add a system so we can make animations for our sprites? I would really appreciate that. And keep up the great work on this app!

This game is great! This app was my first digital art app and helped me learn the basics but then I started using other digital art apps I found out that Dotpict was a lot harder then other art apps...first of all no layers, when I re-downloaded the app I found it hard to do anything without layers like c’mon...second I got logged out of my first account so I had to make a whole new account...third I wished you could private chat people or friend people...other then that it’s a great game so don’t let me stop you from trying it out like I said before this app helped me learn the basics of digital art apps!

Let me start by I watch just about everything my girls do on apps. I missed this one as it didn’t allow some features it has today. I found my kids talking to grown people on this app. It is not a safe app for children and should be labeled as such. My devices all have screen time and device management software but yet it did not catch this app.

This is a very nice social media platform with little to no controversy or discourse. However, most of the content is made by people ages 12-15 so if you don’t want a platform with mainly children, this app isn’t for you. Despite that, everyone is very friendly and nice to each other! And making art is super fun! The only problem I have with it is that it’s hard to move the picture around when drawing zoomed in. And zooming in is a tad challenging as well. Otherwise, it’s really good and I would highly recommend getting this app!

Need a smaller canvas please

When I made pixel art on another software, I could set the canvas size as small as 8 x 8 which works perfect for tiles for my game, and as I started off with the old software I used, the software was free with ads, usual though, but then it started needing 30$ a MONTH, and I deleted, and downloaded this. I need an 8x8 canvas please. My apologies if I was rude, as i am on the high-functioning end of the spectrum that is autism, making it difficult to tell whether or not I am being rude.

This app is one of the BEST pixel art apps I’ve seen in a while, although one thing is that You cannot create a new account, this is a bit annoying, but other than that this app is awesome, creating art on here actually got me out of art block, I’m not saying it works for everyone but it did for me
