y’all are scammers period just give me $9 off a $90 order it’s not that HARD!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been using this app since the first year it went on the App Store and it is no longer worth anyone’s time. They used to allow you to use and give referral codes, earn coins to get decent coupons, and updated pretty consistently. Now they’ve switched to an “influencer” model so you can’t get any discounts without either being super popular or logging in every day to earn 1-5 coins which you can then use to purchase items. ($1 off is 100 coins though so good luck.) They update slow as hell as well. If you see something new online and want to use dote to buy it, it can take 1-3 days before it actually shows up on there. The order you place is also placed days after you place it. Since it’s a third party company, they have to place your order and they do it significantly later. Understandable but if the item goes out of stock, tough luck. It will get cancelled a week later and they won’t refund your shipping without you pestering them. I did TWO separate orders from shopDisney, both with $5.95 shipping, and both got cancelled and they “forgot” to refund my $5.95 shipping in BOTH orders. I had to file tickets to get that money refunded to me. The first time they replied within 3 hours and the second time it took about 3 days. If they had “forgotten” only the first tome it would have been understandable but the second time made me realized they have a shoddy system. There is no reason to keep the shipping money when they didn’t ship me ANYTHING. I no longer trust this company. This app used to have a purpose and provide a convenience. Now, all they care about is popularity and pushing influencers.

I cannot support an app who does not allow diversity within young woman. I have watched countless YouTube videos on the topic about the so-called “Brand trips” That exclude my Nordie women on these trips and are you there’s only me or token to show that the brand it’s at least a little bit diverse. It sickens me to know that there are still companies out there who only care to diversify to shield the public eye of what is really going on.

I returned items and they were going to refund me less from what I actually paid. I emailed then MANY times and they have NOT responded! I also HAVENT even recieved any sort of refund! DO NOT buy from here.

Bring back the old Dote!

I downloaded Dote about a year ago. I was able to score tons of deals with their coupon system that let you cash in your Dote coins for coupons that could save you a couple dollars. It was about 100 coins for 10$ off I’m pretty sure. Recently they’ve abandoned this system — now you can purchase items using Dote coins. The average item costs like 30,000 coins. And users only accumulate about 2 coins a day. It would take forever to save up to buy one shirt. I’d rather have 10 dollars off my entire order than spend forever trying to get a shirt for free. Additionally, I’ve noticed Dote’s shipping costs much more than if I were to purchase directly from the store’s website. Also, Dote doesn’t always include all of each store’s items on sale. Multiple times I’ve encountered an item that was not on sale on Dote but on sale on the store’s website. The only reason this isn’t a one-star review is because I once ordered something that was out of stock already and was given a coupon for compensation as well as given a full refund. Bring back the old Dote!!

Good App/VERY SLOW

This app is so great but it’s terribly slow. The app closes out from time to time when I’m in the middle of online shopping. I hate that it takes years to get to another tab to the next.
