If your tired of waiting for Doom 2 your wait is over. This game is Great! The modified characters add a new twist to the game and the controls are perfect! It may not be Doom 2 but you will have just as much fun. Great job developer. Please make Heretic next.
Another DOOM port copy

This just seems to be another copy of DOOM Classic iphone port from Carmack (but with own custom levels and adapted for iPad), even all controls are same and .... practically unsuitable or normal play. Author simpy plagiated all control options from DOOM Classic and did not try to improve them - there are no sensitivity settings too etc Player movement is too fast and it is impossible to perform any accurate aiming etc as any good DOOM player can do on PC. It is also ridiculous that users are charged money for such "hacks" and weird how this gets into appstore - if Apple does nothing then it seems the store will be flooded soon with new DOOM levels on same engine and presented as new games. So I would like all potential buyers be informed and recommend them check twice what they buy.
2 ways to play co-op

this game has 2 different ways to play co-op. The first is the most obvious which is playing with 3 other players for a total of 4 players on the same local wi-fi connection or the very strong alternative and its optional, the dogs! If you don't have any friends with other iPods and iPhones that either don't have this game or they don't time to play with you, then using dogs is good because it is like playing co-op without the need for wi-fi, these dogs are also pretty tough and can take a beating before going down, WATCH YOUR FIRE however friendly fire is enabled so if you accidentally shoot you dogs they will take damage, luckily they wont attack you for it, make sure that keep your dogs away from the archvilles because if one or all of your dogs die, acrhviles will resurrect them then those dogs are no longer friends, they will attack you, so kill them with super shotgun up close or use the chaingun or avoid confrontation and leave them run fast the faster you run the least likely they will follow you.
