Retro Goodness!!!!!

I love blocky graphics, choppy action, and long mazes in retro games. But some retro FPS games fail to deliver especially in the controls department. But this one takes the cake. Doomsday Hellraiser HD has good framerate and spot on controls. This is a great casual game alternative to fans of Doom 2, Duke Nukem and Wolfenstein classics.

I know alot of you are probably skeptical about this game but it's worth the one or two bucks. The monsters aren't as iconic as the doom ones but its still fun. The controls are pretty good to. I wish duke nukem had a similar control option. Anyway buy it.
WiFi Multiplayer is flawed

Sitting three feet from the guy I am trying to play with. The two of us are the only two connected to a dlink router via wireless. We can connect and start a game but then the wireless game icon comes up every two seconds, freezing the game and making it unplayable. Please fix it as the single player is cool, but multiplayer working would get this a five star rating.

I love it. The only thing that can make it better is if you release moding tools for it. I mean come on, who wouldn't want to play the Nuts.wad mod on their iPad?

The overall look of the FPS is good, but the controls send you zooming and kareaming past your target... Resulting in dyeing quite often... There seem to be only 2 speeds very, very S L O W, or WAYTOFAST!

It's simple-- if you are a fan of Doom, you'll love this. You can customize control set ups and button placement, which is nice because the game plays fast and smooth. I'm really enjoying it!

The game itself seems like it could've had a good chance as a shooter if it wasn't for the freakin awful control schemes.

This game is a really good clone of Doom, while having even less storyline... But then again, Doom clones have never been about the storyline! It's solid, the weapons are fun, and the enemies are fun to kill. What's not to like? My only complaint is that the controls feel too "floaty," so it takes some getting used to them - that's the only thing keeping it from 5 stars, really.

Thanks for another great app Dev! If they was't born in the 70's and 80's, they won't understand it. Don't let the unappreciative discourage you from banging out more old school funk. You supplying, I'm buying. And another thanks for the FREE Universal HACX shooter. It's FAT too.
