Works great

Retrostyle

Really works well. Dont understand the low rating. Haven't used the iPhone video app since. Makes a huge difference. Would love to see more features Added in future updates.

As advertised

Carnivora

Overall, a nice little app. Some sharpness is lost after processing, much shaking is lost.

Perfect!!!

I left a review on a previous version of this app that just crashed repeatedly. They have now fixed the issue, and it works PERFECTLY. An awesome solution for shooting super smooth video with the iPhone. Get it!!!

Lacks functionality and import

I regret not trying the free version before spending $3. Using my iPhone4 with iOS5 I tried a few videos indoors with good lighting. Video constantly goes out of focus. This is because the program doesn't focus lock. It's stuck in the camera app's pre-recording focus hunt. As soon as I move my shot, it refocuses over and over. Even when I tap to focus, it'll focus hunt over and over while recording. If you would rather just use the phones integrated camera app which does focus lock, forget it because you can't import anything from the camera roll. This needs an upgrade for importing or an integrated focus lock, but I'm not holding my breath for either.

Great until you upgrade

@rthesing

Paid for the app, got the 4s now it's a useless app with no hope in sight. Their homepage doesn't even elude to supporting the 4s :(

It's good and it works

Trizle88

This is a great idea and the software works but I mean no one needs stabilized family home videos if you add a feature so you can import videos and make it a little less glitchy than this would be 5 star but I dislike having to film with the app to use it it's kinda pointless seeing as I usually film with a cannon t3i and now can't even stabilize what I shot with that...and make an app for the computer app store

Precorder would make this 5 stars

Objective User

This excellent app gets 4 stars because it is missing a feature -- a precorder. I will give this app 5 stars if they implement a (variable length) precorder feature (check out the Precorder app). Separate focus and aperture controls would be a big bonus too. It gives you a wider angle (zooms less) than Luma, but it takes a while to stabilize (postproduction) long clips. Luma stabilizes in real time (while you shoot), so you never have to wait for long clips. For those who have misunderstood, this is NOT a "video stabilizer". It does what it says it will do -- stabilize your camera. In other words, you can't stabilize video clips taken with other apps; you have to use this app's camera. This is my choice video camera app.

Can't Stabilize Video

Ray Mercado

Doesn't work on I-phone 5. I keep getting a pop up saying "Calibration Profile Missing". Can't get in touch with developer to resolve . Want my money back!

Wow!

Update2: Now working on iPhone 5, and the app is better than ever! As a professional photographer, I am incredibly impressed with this app! I have over 300 apps, and this has become my go-to video app! It never crashes, and works perfectly everytime. It analyzes each video and only zooms as much as it has to depending on the amount of shaking in the video. The bad reviews are because there is no import function, and no focus lock. The app added focus lock in a new update, and since the app uses gyroscope and accelerometer information to stabilize the video, importing videos would not make sense, as that information is already lost. 100% of my videos are now taken with DollyCam :)

Should be the top video app

*Update: After trying out other stabilizer apps, I've changed my rating to 5 stars. This app blows the others out of the water when it comes to stabilization. The results you get are better than a professional Steadycam. Having no import feature is a very small sacrifice in my opinion. This app deserves way more than 3 stars, and ought to be on the top charts. The quality of the stabilizer is too good. The app may be expensive, but it's a lot better than my original plan of getting $200+ stabilizer that does an OK job. I would give it a 5 if as everyone has mentioned it had an import feature.
