Garbage upgrade

So folks, what do I do now! Because of your bugs in the upgrade I cannot retrieve any of my documents! I'm extremely upset about this!! Fix it pronto!!

I’ve used Docs to Go for years, because it was a great way to ensure that files remained on my mobile devices, without worrying about connectivity issues or cloud availability. It’s worked well in the past. However, I updated the app to this version, and now cannot sync my files. I had to delete the app and reload to try to get the sync working, and now it won’t sync my files and I lost what I had on my iPad. DataViz is working on it, but it’s been few weeks and still no resolution.

I have used Documents to Go for many years now, since way back in my Palm Pilot days. Today I continue to use Documents to Go and foresee using it for many years to come. Thank you for continuing to support this long time customer.

I enjoy the power of Documents To Go in managing, reading, and editing my documents and spreadsheets. The app has become unstable since the last update. It locks up frequently on my iPhone-5S when editing Word files. The last time this occurred, the autosave feature didn't help and I lost a paragraph of new text. I hope that this glitch is quickly remedied and I'd be happy the give it the five stars that it had before.
None bad product but poor support

I've used docs to go for years and it generally does what I need. The lack of spell checking in excel files is annoying but manageable. The major issue is the poor support. Whenever I've had issues their help has been essentially worthless. Just recently I moved to a new device and couldn't redeem my purchase of the cloud sync function. I gave them proof of the prior purchase but they said they couldn't do anything and sent me to apple who sent me right back to Doc To Go. Who said they would have to see if there was some "trick" they could find. Then they went silent. I've had to repurchase it because I'm heavily based in the tool but I'm actively looking for a replacement now.

I tried editing the PowerPoint file in their sample, but can only edit text, and not pictures or graphics already included in the slides.

It works as expected, and it's nice to be able to use via mobile. HOWEVER, It's a pain having to retrieve the original *.xls document from a mail folder in order to open in Docs to go. It can't be saved in Books, as it's converted to a PDF automatically. That's fine provided you don't need to manipulate formula in the xls doc. There is no other file system other than paying for a cloud system, which is not worth the expenditure unless the user is a heavy spreadsheet geek . Of course if you have a phone with a memory card like Blackberry it's not a problem. Not a viable solution to a minimalist user without a memory card. It does work as advertised.

I can only review the free version because I didn't "purchase" the premium version. Fact is that I've purchased it a few times across multiple phones and now they want me to pay yet again. All I want is the adds removed. And for this it's the low price of $16.99. I am not paying again when I've already purchased it.
