App logs you out every time it is closed since the last update. It does not allow Face ID so you have to type ID and password every day. Prior version kept you logged in. Terribly inconvenient now.
I've been using this application for the last few weeks. It is an excellent app; however, It would be nice if I were able to add cellphone numbers.
Great method for empoying an existing database into the exisitng iPhone contact list app and charge a subscription. Needs to be dynamic and much more robust for the high cost. V2 should incorporate the ability to add more data: doctor specific lines, cell phone, fax lines, IM, e-mail addresses & websites. A note section for additional ad hoc data: days in office, office location, personnel names. This app can only improve with time and refinement. Great start! Looking forward to V2 to justify the expense.
I do not understand why the fax numbers have been left out... Please add the fax numbers!!!
I live here in Austin, and I am totally impressed with DocBook. Travis County Medical Society is way ahead of the entire nation because physicians here in Austin have the ability to have so much infomation in the palm of their hands!! I can find other docs by name, specialty, and even by their pics!! The cherry on top of all this- every pharmacy in Austin is already there on the app with maps and phone numbers!! I love it!
I am an early adopter. I have seen the app get better and better throughout the year. The developers are also very approachable. I agree that this program will be widely accepted by the medical community.
I have enjoyed the fact that I do not have to carry around a paper directory. It has helped me many times find the right physician. I highly recommended that you get this app for your local area.
Fantastic directory of physicians to have on me at all times. The only caveat is you must belong to the medical society for which the database you are searching. Fast sync and constantly updated. The ability to look up office numbers and contact info is invaluable especially when I don't have time to go to a computer or flip through a paper directory. One of my favorite features is the ability to look at local pharmacies. As the app evolves it has lots of potential if more and more physicians use it; the ability for example to message other docs directly, curbside consults etc or docs to put exactly what kind of info they want to share to facilitate and improve communication with other colleagues.
This app allowed me to build a favorites list that allows me really quick access to guys I consult with on daily -- I find myself using this thing much more than I first anticipated. Thanks for thinking of this one.
