Garbage, on all fronts

Every piece and part of this app is useless. It is nothing but one problem after another. From the server just deciding that my password doesn’t work anymore, to the app saying the QR code on the extender is invalid, to the binding continually removing itself, to the WiFi CONTINUOUSLY disconnecting.... One after another, I have sorted through each problem.... only to get to a point where they all start over again. The drone might be a good product. However EVERY other piece of this useless puzzle isn’t worth a dime. The fact that they made everything so dependent on everything else is the detriment of this company. I shouldn’t have to rely on their flakey servers to log in, every time I want to use my camera. I shouldn’t have to rely on intermittent WiFi to connect my devices. I shouldn’t have to continually enter the same information into the app for connectivity.... only to find that it continually deletes it, as soon as I leave the settings. I’ve actually never been able to get all the flimsy pieces of this astronomical flop to work at the same time. Therefore, I have never been able to connect to my drone. If there were negative stars, I’d give them.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE APP!

This app is the only way I can use my drone, and of course it does not work when logging in. FIX IT PLEASE!!

I also had a perfectly good phantom. I have since tried to bind it with several iPhones and iPads with no results. I was looking at a phantom 4. But I will never purchase another DJI product. I believe this is planned obsolescence. HOWEVER I GOT HOLD OF AN OLD SAMSUNG GALAXY PURE CORE PHONE AND IT BOUND UP INSTANTLY THE FIRST TIME. I HOPE THIS WILL HELP SOME OF YOU GUYS WITH DEAD PHANTOMS.

I upgraded my phone installed the same app and could never reconnect. After too many hours and hours I gave up. Seems like they just want to sell new equipment and don’t want to help with the old.

Never in my life have I downloaded this app. No matter what email I type in it says already registered. I even made a new email and it says that. What’s the deal???? I’ll give higher rating when developers contact me on how this is happening.

I am approaching the time where I will be receiving the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ and am very scared after reading the horror stories of this app making drones a brick or killing live feed forever, if anyone can give me more in sight on this and/or an alternative app it would be greatly appreciated!

How can a company just decide to render a perfectly good and VERY expensive piece of technology unusable by killing the app that runs the live feed?? I spent a fortune on my PV2+. It's flawless. Never a crash. Then one day DJI killed the only app that runs the live feed. I also had spent a LOT on extra batteries, parts, spares, and a high powered wi fi extender that had my transmitter working incredibly. All that money down the drain. I don't WANT a new Phantom. I didn't need a new Phantom. My P2 was working fine. This is heartbreaking and I'm downright angry that DJI BROKE my Phantom. This should be illegal. If anyone knows a way around the live feed blackout, please let us know. That DJI has made me flush $1500, i will NEVER buy another one of their UAVs. I'll build my own from scratch next time. What a disgrace by a GREEDY company.
