Awful app

I love Discogs and I love browsing vinyl on their superb website, but the app is really bad. I think i will stick to the much better and more user friendly website.

Unreliable app

Terrible port of Discogs.

This version of Discogs is missing so many important features and also has a lot of annoying quirks and a weird bug. - You can't edit releases at all. - You can't read notes, see videos, reviews, ratings, or see lists on releases. - You can't see an artist's profile. - When you look at a band's discography, placing of releases is completely random and nothing is in any order whatsoever. You have to manually click to sort by oldest first. There also is no separation from albums, singles, compilations etc. - You can't view your lists. - You cannot look at specific genres, only artists and releases. Weird Bug: Sometimes the release date of an album will state it was released the year before, typically on Christmas (i.e. an album made in 1967 would say it was released on 12/25/66) when this is clearly not the case. This error also sometimes displays that the album was released the first day of the year (i.e an album made in 1967 would say it was released on 1/1/67) and this is false too.

Wish we could have more of the desktop features. Weird you can’t see comments, etc.

Issues

I loved the app, but somehow am now unable to add anything to my collection. I now went to MyVinylbox app, works great and appears to be same company?! However it has limitations I’ll review on there.

The App Can Be Glitchy

I cannot access my cart from the app. I need to go on the web site to access the cart. That’s not acceptable. I love discogs, but the app needs some help. Very glitchy at times. Even though discogs has many more records than eBay, they could learn from eBay’s ease of use on their app. My advice is to fix all of the glitches with the app. Discogs itself is a great place to buy records, though. The app is sub-par at best, and I’m being kind.

Awful

The disparities between the Android and iOS versions of this app are numerous and significant. It's terrible on the iPhone and magical on other phones. Why is that?? Just moved to an iPhone this weekend after being an Android user for many years and I'm very disappointed.
