Two and gone

I subscribed via IMBA. The first two years I used ZINO and it worked. I decided to go to the source and use the DirtRag app. The first two issues worked, but I cannot get the latest issue to download.

I made the mistake of subscribing today. I didn’t realize this publisher is the same as the one for Bike Mag (they are under separate company names, but both are Zinio, in the end), who I just spent several weeks with resolving an issue where my subscription just wouldn’t allow me to download anything. I have a business trip coming up so I subscribed to this to pre-download some airplane reading. I can’t get to anything, just like I ran into with Bike Mag. Frustrating.
Even with the update, the app still doesn’t work

Updated for newest version: I was excited to see an update and hoped that the problem with restoring purchases had been solved. Nope! Still can’t get subscription to work! So frustrating. Same as the other reviews. I've been trying for 2 days to restore my purchases through iTunes with no luck. When the app says it will take awhile, they aren't kidding. In response to developer. I purchased my subscription through iTunes. It is set to renew on May 8th. When I click on any issue, I am given the option to Purchase or Preview. When I select Purchase, I am prompted to pay for the issue so I tap Cancel when asked for my password. I have tried multiple times to restore my subscription through iTunes with no luck. I've also deleted the app and reinstalled at least twice and have done a power reset. Still no luck. Therefore, I am unable to download any issue without being prompted to pay.

I used to like this app. I too am experiencing issues actually reading the content that I HAVE PAID for! I don’t even know how long it’s been since I was able to read an issue. Shame on me for not complaining sooner, I suppose. Today I tried removing and reinstalling the app, only to arrive at the same lackluster conclusion as I had previously encountered. Hopefully they can get this fixed. I’ve cancelled my subscription but it would still be nice to have the next four months, and previous 20 months that I have paid for available to read some day.

This is a terrible experience. Not sure why you'd develop an app (and replace a perfectly good one) that actively chases subscribers away. Do not subscribe.
Cool Magazine I Can’t Read

Love the magazine and content. App layout is nice, too. However, I only get to read it once, immediately after downloading. Later I get an endless white screen after tapping “view.” Only solution I’ve found is deleting and reinstalling.

It's a good mag with some good iPad content. Only 4 stars for the price on older issues. They should be lower by at least a buck, but it's a good mag non the less.
