I use dictionaries and encyclopedias a lot. After trying many other dictionary apps, I must commend Dict Box that is by far the most complete on iPhone. Developers should however enhance the word database.
Plus dictionaries can not be installed!

I,ve reinstalled it recently but I cannot instal more dictionary! While I could before! WHY CAN NOT I NOW???

ממש רציתי שהמוצר הזה יהיה טוב אבל מילון אבן שושן מחסיר ממש הרבה ערכים שיצא לי לחפש והוא כמעט לא משרת את המטרה שלשמה רכשתי את האפליקציה. ממש חבל.

Clumsy user interface. Can’t even just translate a word. It tries to guess which language you typed in, finds way too many matches, and makes you plow through a bunch of ads before you can find an answer.

I bought this app because of the dictionary is offline and it include urban dictionary too. But it is not so good .

The app itself is amazing! Being a professional medical and community interpreter, I have been using this app to build up my glossary and use it almost everyday. Love the offline function, able to create folders and save the word in multiple favorite folders. I use the traditional Chinese dictionaries; so far the translations have been accurate and available. In the event translation/definition is not available, there’s the helpful function to input own definition in the note section. The ONLY reason I did not give it 5-star is not the app itself (definitely a 5-star as far as the app is concerned) but the customer service for troubleshooting is non-existent! After paying $14.99 for the premium version, I expect app support. However, I emailed the “app support” several times and never once did I hear back from them. The earliest email I sent was almost a year ago! Right now my issue is the app is unable to import word lists from Dropbox- an available but unworkable function. I tried reinstalling the app, log in/out of Dropbox, tried on different Apple devices, etc. but issue remains unresolved. It’s an essential function for users to share their glossary lists. Also, I would like to suggest adding the capability to insert an image to each word. Hopefully their app support team, if it exists, can respond to my review...

The app is really good. I have been using it for 4 years and it helps me a lot after I moved to the USA. It has a great flash card, pictures option and the developer keeps making improvements. For me it’s number 1 app.
