Worth every penny, sound quality needs improvement and the ability to use in landscape format for iPad would be nice too. Otherwise, Apple's Voice Memos app is superior... imo.

Works great but would like to see the option to be silent when activated. Makes an obvious sound when turned on. In class or meetings draws attention to you. Would also like to see more range on the voice activation option. A little too sensitive. Records almost everything unless it's absolutely quiet

Basic but solid features.

Works great, but in order to be used as a dictaphone the first screen should show a big prominent "record" button, not a small plus sign on the corner. Just like the native voice memo app.

This thing is great. Perfect functionality for me. Does what it says and how I need it to. Simple and effective!

There are three problems with this app that make it nearly unusable in the voice-activated (VOX) mode. First, it is much too sensitive, even in the least-sensitive setting. Second, when mic activity stops, there is no delay before pausing the recording, so recordings sound very choppy and have missed syllables. Finally, the only way to change the VOX sensitivity is to slide a control after the recording has begun, and the setting does not "stick" between recordings, it needs to be re-set at the beginning of each recording.

It get the job done eventually, but it seems like the developer never actually used their own app. The good: 1) It's free. 2) Once recording starts, it seems to do a good job. 3) The voice activation works well (for me). 4) Deleted recordings go into a temporary delete location (so you can recover them if you accidentally delete them) and can then be permanently deleted later. The not so good: 1) You can make setting adjustments ONLY while a recording is in session. As soon as you open a new session, it starts recording immediately, so you have to start a new recording, choose your settings, stop the recording, click back to the summary page and delete the recording, then start all over with the recording you wanted in the first place. 2) With all the deleted recordings you end up with, you will need to visit the permanent delete option often. Good luck. The developer decided the only way to access this is to shake the phone. If it work most of the time, it might be acceptable, but you'll end up spending more time shaking the phone trying to delete the recordings than you did making them in the first place.

I wish someone would make a recorder you could edit. I would like to take the best of my recordings and listen to them in one recording.

Love RSS Radio, so looked for more from this provider. This is a simple, easy to use voice recorder. It sounds great and hasn't failed me yet. Looking forward to more from him!
