So I’ve used this app a few times of times and it does record... just like it says. However there is so much room for improvement. I have three main issues with the app right now: 1) Recordings start automatically as soon as I tap the + to create a new recording. This is the silliest default setting I’ve ever seen. I have looked and have not not found anywhere in this app to change the setting so that it does not automatically start recording immediately. I have it set on least sensitive so that it is less likely to record anything before I’m not ready. However, it will still pickup background noise on occasion and records it anyway. ***There should be an option in the app settings where you can choose if you want recordings to start automatically or manually. 2) ***It would be more user friendly if the settings options were on the main screen like most other apps are rather on the recording screen. With the issue in #1 above, it’s a pain! I’d rather have my settings already set from the main screen before I create a new recording. 3) The file organization could user some significant development. ***A folder system where I could create separate folders and then file all my related recordings in one place would be helpful*** When I am looking for a specific recording, it would be much easier to find if I could set up a folder called “Meetings“ or “Reminders” or whatever. Having to scroll through a list of recordings all bunched together is tedious and time consuming. I might continue using this app on occasion… But will most likely choose to use a more robust one over this. Glad it was free as I would never pay for the app as it is. Very generically developed at this point.

Don’t know why. It used to replay on watch at least as loud as Mickey now it’s not useful or I’d rate 5 stars again :( its lower than a pin drop or my breathing

... Otherwise it works nicely. I live in the woods and have an average car. The auto pause hardly ever works because there is never true enough silence. Good feel to the interface. This the best performing recorder you'll find in the store for this purpose(IMHO).

This app does exactly as it is advertised. I like that you can rename your recording to more easily identify each one. I contacted support for an issue & response was extraordinary, replying quickly, addressing all my concerns, and giving clear explanations. Great communication. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of a bug, which loses your recording if you tap an ad during recording. Support discovered that when I emailed about losing mine. (They are going to fix it in an update.) So be cautious not to open an ad while recording & you are golden. Of course you avoid that possibility altogether if you have purchased the ad free version or use airplane mode during recording.
