okay why can people search for stuff on the diary and actually finding my entries without even hacking it!!! that's just wrong!!! please fix immediately but other than that I love it:)

I find MagickWorX's Diary to be one of the most aesthetically appealing journal applications existing. I was looking for a journal app with a cute old fashioned look, and Diary, with it's ochered "pages" and gilt leather-bound "diaries" to choose from fit the bill. It has sort of a Victorian feel. You can select multiple diaries to keep in different colors to organize your thoughts, and password protect each one if you so choose. If you don't like the "antiqued parchment" background, you can select your own background, and also change the font, text size, and color. It's not prefect, however. I'd agree with others that it can be difficult to navigate. One thing thats bugging me is that I cant figure out how to edit photo captions or delete photos or alter page layouts after you've saved them. I think it would be cool to include more diary and font colors, but aside from that, it is a fairly complete, and very elegant application.

Perfect diary app! I bought this back in January 2010 use it everyday! The only things I would like to add are: . The option to put down how you are feeling. . A password for the whole app and not just the individual diaries. . Stickers to decorate the entries. . More diary cover options. If you are looking for a diary app this is the one for you. I would recommend this.

This was my favorite app and now I can't use it any more because I can't upgrade to iOS4! Please consider making it accessible to lower iOS again.

This is my all time favorite diary but recently encountered problems while attaching a picture, it crashes. Navigation is a little awkward but tolerable and I'm having trouble figuring out how to delete an entire Diary, not just the contents within. I searched through the information menu thoroughly but still struggling. A password to enable and unlock the diary as a whole instead of having to remember different passwords for each individual diary created. Good concept though and I can see it's positive attributes. I love the interface and the large variety of fonts in addition to it's realistic look and feel of a leather bound journal with rustic, singed pages. I look forward to an update:) Update: I contacted the developer regarding the crash while attaching pictures. I was most impressed with his speedy response. Apparently they were victims of the Tsunami in Japan, therefore unable to deliver a timely update, but will do so when they are up and running again. My thoughts and prayers are with them.

I have downloaded and wasted money on my fair share of journaling apps, and this is easily the best I've found. At first I was very frustrated because I couldn't figure out how to post a new entry, but then I figured out that it worked if I turned the Twitter feature OFF. This was somewhat disappointing because I thought the twitter feature was great, but if there's a way to make a new entry with it on, I have yet to find it. Other than that, this is a REALLY great diary app, and I would recommend it. I like the choice of wallpapers, the fact that you can put photos and voice memos in your entry, the font choices (although I wouldn't mind more fonts!!!), the fact that you can customize the page layout, the fact that you can write multiple entries in a day, the list goes on! Things I would like to see in an update are for each entry to be timestamped, the Twitter issue to be fixed, maybe Facebook integration, I'd like automatic geotagging of each entry, and more font and font color choices. The ability to post a video to your entry would be nice as well. This is probably the best journal app you will find, trust me. It is better than Journal Diary Pro, no doubt about that!

The software get's the job done. However, the interface is very poorly organized and not easy to follow. It is not intuitive at all and you have to jump through hoops to insert pictures or notes. I wasted more than normal money here and I regret it a lot.

I love how I can use any picture as a background, have multiple locked journeys and write a lot. Inserting pictures is easy, you just need to push the right button. You can also choose were to place the picture. You can customize fonts and colors, great app really!
