First of all you should read the manual shown when you tap the button at the right upper corner on the navigation bar in the information screen.
You should also make sure of the settings in Diary app with Setting app.

Just bought. Overall good application. Suggest to improve interface to simplify the tasks. And wish to able to mail all diaries at one go, instead of one episode at a time..

First let me clarify for anyone confused: this app is in English despite the Japanese text in the display pics! I'm really glad I bought this app! I was a bit nervous spending four bucks on an app with no reviews, but it turned out to be well worth it! It's a really great diary with the ability to customize you font type and color, as well as choosing your diary color and theme. The passcode and pic additions are a nice feature as well. I usually plop down ten bucks for blank diaries at the store, so four for this I thought was reasonable, but I think it might be better priced at $2.00-$3.00. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and i'd recommend it to anyone wanting a nice clean diary app! とても嬉しかったです。ありがとうね！
Great Diary/Journal App

I too was nervous that this would be in Japanese but the application is in english. It's a great Diary/Journal application, biggest plus is the ability to keep multiple diaries. I can add multiple pictures to journal entries and I really like that it has the flow cover page similar to iTunes album covers to flip through and select one of my different diaries. It took a bit to figure out the pages since the App store had the pictures all labeled in Japanese (would be nice if they were in English) but I don't regret buying this app. It would be even better if a native english speaker would update the english grammer on the App store page and the support web-site. Glad you fixed the tapping on picture problem. A suggestion for an upgrade would be to sync to the MAC/PC for backups, restores or updates from the desktop. Add landscape editing mode.

I bought this app before any reviews hit the app store for it. I, too, was afraid it would be written in an Asian language. But it is not. It's an awesome app that just keeps getting better with every update. I had to report a couple bugs and the dev wrote me back within minutes, each time! Once at 1:00 am EST. He was very helpful and very open to suggestion. This app has it all! The only reason it is not 5 stars right now is due to the language barrier which makes the website instruction page difficult to decipher. I even offered to translate his webpage for this app into better English for free just because I love the app so much! Only one bug at this time that I've come across and it could just be my iPhone is on a couple of my older diary entries, if I tap them to review them, the app closes and I'm back to my iPhone's app screen. I'm sure this will be addressed in the next version. Bottom Line: GREAT APP!
Pretty, but fails in execution

The app crashes whenever I create an entry longer than a couple of sentences. And, yes, I've tried rebooting the phone and have a good amount of free space for memory. The support site is useless - it only offers a list of repaired errors, not any current info or suggestions for troubleshooting. I want my four bucks back. Boo.

Awesome diary! Took a little bit to figure out how to use it but after playing with it a little I figured it out. I don't really care that it's not in English in the app store, the app itself is. I love the cover flow for the different diaries I have, that's pretty cool. It is very well put togeather and I think it's one of the best diary apps out there! Just one request, please add more background styles. I know you can add a background picture wichbis cool, but please add other styles besides the one given. Great job!
Password a joke

The password is useless. You can just search the word "the" and see all the entrys and click and read. Please put the password on the app not just the diary or make a password protected diary unable to be searched

I've never used a diary before and decided to try to keep one and out of all the ones I've tried in the app store "This one" is the one I absolutely love, it has the total feel of an actual Diary from the GUI to the page flicks, the fonts are adjustable so I can actualy read what I write and the ability to add photos to your diary makes it totally complete! I've been using it for 2 months now and the only thing I wish for is a quick "Calendar View" to jump to entries faster like Momento has, though I chose this over that Diary I did like the Calendar view on that app but this one has "all" the features one could ever want in a virtual Diary. Thank you!

I've been looking for real diary application, not like note/ journal. After trying more than 10 different ones, I decided to choose this. By some reason, this app doesn't appeal enough on iTunes & web site due to language barrier. However, good EN manual comes w application. A bit complicated learning curve, but once u learned, no one can beat. U can create so many various ways, by font, color, wallpaper, layout, and etc, to be different custom made diaries. It makes u enjoy writing & reading impressively. As we know, All others are in the same one pattern layout. Wish this app gets more popular not only in Japan but also US.
