Literally Unfinished

ThumbPrince

This game needs a lot less raving reviews on account it is LITERALLY unfinished. I love Deus Ex, have played all of them, this one plays-- to its credit-- just like its console counterpart. BUT, it is LITERALLY not finished; there is NO ENDING. It LEGIT just says "To be continued soon" and is SUPER SHORT leading up to that. And NO, The console chapter doesn't pick up where this leaves off. This game has been out for long enough (since BEFORE Mankind Divided!) that it should've released its next chapter by now, but gantry! It is mind-boggling to see so many rave reviews for an unfinished game priced so high. AVOID it.

Short but well done D.E. Title

So I started playing this right after reading Icarus Effect, and this game picks up right where the book left off and even fleshed out the details from it even more. It had me hooked from beginning to end and I was honestly crushed that the credits started rolling because I didn't want it to end! In a way, I am more invested in Ben Saxon and Anna Kelso than with Alex Jensen, and am eager to see what comes next in their story arc. The controls worked perfectly enough that I was able to play through both going stealth as well as straight up running and gunning. Definitely recommend, especially to anyone who has read the book or is just a Deus Ex fan in general.

This is the first Deus Ex game I've ever played and I must admit I've been missing out! Don't miss this game! I am going to start playing the PC versions!

Truly love this game

Short & to the point. I never write game reviews but this game rocks. Steep learning curve at beginning but hours of fun. Yes!

This Game Gets More Flak Than it Deserves

Todd Weinerbaughls

I think this game gets more flak than it deserves. Obviously the mobile platform is going to have way more limitations than PC or console, so in that regard it is a little "dumbed down" than other games in the series. I do think this game gets way more hate than it deserves. As a Deus Ex Universe fan, I love this game and I think other die-hards will appreciate the supplemental story. I find this game addicting and for being release on a mobile platform, I think the creators did a great job maximizing the capabilities of using this platform One huge dislike is the "to be continued" that was never continued. I think Eidos Montreal needs to finish this story. I know some time has past since this has been released, but a sequel would be great to finish the story this game starts. Better to have it late than never

NOT ENOUGH

proemf

First off I'm a newcomer to the Deus Ex series, but I'm disappointed with this one as a whole. The story never really went anywhere, plus it had a VERY abrupt ending. It ends right when you feel like your getting started. The gameplay was fine and well polished, but it still felt lacking compared to Human Revolution or Mankind Divided. The graphics looked great on my iPhone 7, and it it's very stylish. But despite the pretty graphics, the game overall just falls short. I can't really recommend it, so I would hold off this purchase.

Love the story line. I'm still trying to get a good hang of the controls. But I like

I have been a Deus Ex fan since it first came out. I love the portability and the dynamics the game offers. The storyline is also great.
