Where’s newspaper format?

The app is no longer showing up in a newspaper format. Instead I’m getting a series of tiles that don’t appear to be organized by section. Terrible.
Used to be a great app

I used to love this app but now it is awful. The new layout makes hard to read and even the hint of touching it redirects you to an advertiser. Deleting it because it is too frustrating to use.
App will not load half the time

The Detroit Free Press application will not load more than half the time. No matter how many times I try.
The app no longer loads

The app used to work great, but now it just says loading error. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it still says the same thing.
App Won’t Open

I have enjoyed this app for several years, but now, in the last few day it won’t open! It appears that the FP peeps (AKA Gannett) me to opt for an ad free subscription before I can open the app! Don’t like being coerced!
