New update removed the top banner with date and time. Now I have to close app just to see the time.

A great paper online! Support your local reporters as they do the difficult job of protecting our freedoms and our democratic form of government. The light of truth shines when there are lots reporters there informing the public as events unfold in real time. And this App works great! Much better than the glitchy clumsy Facebook app ?

App works great. The Detroit Free Press is where I get all my local news. Great reporting. I'm probably one of the few that has both the app and has the paper delivered too. Sometimes it's just easier to see the whole paper by having it in your hands.
Add free is a myth

I did the trial add free app and I still see adds. Hopefully he developer sees this and will do something about it.
