If you want to get the best card pack bundle and don't want to pay through the nose (in-game currency doesn't go very far) you have to obsessively watch ads for months. If the stars awarded for ad watching were increased (or cost of items reduced) it might be worth downloading again. Also, if you do play, DO NOT use fuse on any card shard stacks that you wouldn't mind loosing. Any reminder will be lost after fusing. You have to repurchase the full cost of the card and fuse the individual cards. An annoying and frustrating oversight that should be addressed along with the currency issue.

Spent more time than I care to admit playing this. Nice progression keeps you involved. Difficulty increases to match your skills at an even pace.

It’s a good TD game. It’s well balanced and gives you the option of watching videos rather than paying to progress.

I’ve really enjoyed the game thus far. Nothing impossibly difficult, fair enough RNG for reward drops and the card(s) you get from chests, and the different towers provide a bunch of variability for gameplay.

This game is one of the best tower defence strategy games available on the app store. It had been long-neglected by the devs, but they’ve recently started to pay attention to it again, so there have been events and major changes for the better. You can have fun without paying money / having to suffer a ton of ads, though once you get accustomed to the maps and foes, it can begin to feel a bit grindy. You’ll get hundreds of hours in before that point, though.

The battle field is often spaced that it's nearly impossible for the player to even remotely succeed in the battle for even a short time, the spacing of which you can place turrets are so far away from the enemy's route that they are a waste to even place, the first iteration of the game was player friendly to the point where the player could at least compete in the battle, the battles in this one barely give the play a chance at all.

Played and liked the original; beat PD1 for free. For PD2, pros: No repetitive quotes. (The Touched are approaching!) Neat non-confrontational PvP. Decent card and map variety. More complex cards vs. PD1. Environmental factors. Cons: No story mode or campaign. (seriously?) You will never max 4* cards; 5* cards unattainable without $$$. Most maps too simple, not much chance for proper tower defense. TL;DR: If you liked PD1, this scratches the tower defense itch for free if you use 2* and 3* cards plus single-use 4* Detonator and Spirit Tower (L37 and counting).
