Okay puzzles, no variety

Pelean

From the description, I expected a various kinds of puzzles, not the same type through the whole game. I enjoyed the string puzzles, though the difficulty level was never that high even in the higher levels. No directions but it isn't hard to figure out how to play. The Lovecraft connection was of no importance to me, as I'm only vaguely familiar with his works. This feels like a work in progress rather than a completed game. Short and enjoyable enough if you like those type of puzzles, but not an outstanding game.

A Lovely Lovecraftian Puzzler

Kallism

The puzzles have a singular depth, although they do get more complex as the game progresses by adding nodes which require an increasing number of connections. Lines can not cross each other and they can't pass through the edge of a node. So as the webs become more complex, a degree of experimentation (or planning) becomes necessary. Thankfully there is a back button that reverses your moves one step at a time so you can fix a mistake without having to start over. Lastly, I truly appreciated the Lovecraftian aesthetic. From the ambient but creepy soundtrack to the art style and mythos presented at the end of each group of levels.

Loved it, but...

Sanguinous Rex

I didn’t mind the repetition, it was a great puzzle with my favorite thing, a Lovecraftian theme, but there was no real end. You finished the game and just got another static screen about some monster. I’m guessing you’re summoning it? Anyway well worth playing but I wanted MOAR.
