- H.P. Lovecraft
“Deep Terror” Is in your hands, the invocation book that will take you to the core of human horror. To get there, you must wander different landscapes, solving enigmatic puzzles that will allow you to confront beings from beyond who will give you the knowledge you need to make the final invocation.
Will you be able to deal with great Q’thul and his devils without going mad on the way?
I really enjoyed the simplicity and challenge of the game. I, personally, appreciated that it did not get increasingly difficult. Each puzzle is in the same format, but also unique enough to prevent feeling stale or too easy. I didn’t realize there was audio with the game until incidentally playing while listening to a podcast. If you’re able, having the audio on speakers in another room is pretty delightful.
A good portion of the fun early on is trying to figure out the game. It’s nice having a game that assumes you’re smart but makes you work for it! Nicely polished, but would’ve been nice to have more....
Interesting proposal and excellent ambience for this black magic puzzle. If you play inside a pentagram interesting things could happen ;0)
The "game" consists of a scrollable load screen, some creepy whispers and music, and that's it. There's no way to actually start any of the puzzles in the ads you see online. This isn't an actual game. It's social media test to trick you into installing a fake game and let you get frustrated trying to launch a game that doesn't actually exist.
Pretty cool game. I just finished it and enjoyed every minute. Also I'm a sucker for spooky Cthulhu stuff so that's a plus too.
I like the way the "string" puzzles are intuitive to solve without any dialogue to explain them. The background whispering was sometimes overbearing, but the trappings of Lovecraftian mythos are pretty well done.
Deep terror is a simple puzzler where players draw out evil geometry to summon lovecraftian horrors puzzles are simple at first but ramp up nicely
Good level design, great atmosphere, but needs the option to turn it off.
