A useful tool

Radjin

On fast mode it’s pretty good at detecting sounds your ear cannot, leaks in systems, failing bearings. I hope in an update the orientation is enhanced. When I attempt to point the microphone at the source for better location the screen only goes as far as landscape. I would also like to switch between different settings to compare without having to go into a separate settings screen interrupting my work.

Nice App

The Apple Watch version worked. Now it doesn’t. Just displays zero. Can you fix? Thanks

Freezes on iPad Pro

The app will freeze when trying to save the current sound measurement. Look elsewhere for a reliable sound monitoring app.

Great noise monitor

KeikoTsunami

I occasionally need to monitor noise levels at home or in classrooms when I’m substitute teaching. So I’m a novice at this, although I am a scientist in other areas. This APP does everything I need: records noise levels, lets me adjust the parameters, such maximum acceptable noise level, and I can download the data. It defines & explains everything. It is calibrated. The only thing it has no effect on is my 4 cats’ level of meowing. If only it could feed them.... I’m thrilled with this APP!

Works as advertised

Apps should work as intended. The science and tech in this one does. I haven’t had the equipment to test or adjust its accuracy but it appears to be correct out of the box. I recommend it.
