Awful

Alphacadabra

This game used to be so awesome and unique. This complete overhaul update has ruined the game for me. I bought the premium awhile back and now there’s no point in having it. The game stole our caps also. ? it’s fubar now. I’ll probably delete it now as there is no point in playing a pay to play game. Greedy developers keep ruining all of our games

In app purchases

Good game but after the update I started a new save but I did not get my in app purchases back? Is there anyway to fix this

This game wants you to fail

It’s odd just how ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY it is that you are online to play this game. The game tells you that loot is generated for each player. I was at level 95 because I’d played the game before the developers decided to add all of these “special” things such as the graphics and animations of a hand opening and closing to grab every single item while searching. I was playing on easy and since then, I lost all vehicles and even though I had every single weapon (and all ammo), I lost every single battle and then end up losing tons of loot. The main reason I actually bought premium was for the save feature. With premium, YOU CANNOT SAVE. So not only did the developers lie to me by changing this feature through the update, they’ve made it to where even at level 95, you’re screwed. I am livid that I bought Premium only for the developers to decide to make it to where I can’t save. You guys are liars and the updates aren’t that great. Screw you guys.

Bait and switch by devs.

I’ve played this game for years, having finished everything on one profile. Was a great game. Recent updates removed the ability to save and load anytime, a specifically advertised feature of the premium app. Instead, it has been replaced with a auto save system combined with a heavy penalty for dying that will often be enough to end your game. Like, being teleported thousands of kilometers from your loot, having your vehicle and all fuel taken, having heavy penalties and debuffs applied to make scavenging harder, having all food and water taken, as well as all of your pots for cooking. Being left in an area you’ve already looted so there’s nothing to find. Just really rage inducing. If I wanted such a heavy death penalty, I would’ve checked the one life option. Before these last few updates, you could save your game, try something new, and then load if it didn't work out. Now, you can be ambushed and lose everything, bricking the profile. I won’t even get into losing 90% of my caps and the store turning into loot boxes all of a sudden. Sad to see a great game go this way. Super tedious grind now, plus the chance of losing everything anyway. Plus, now you can lose everything at your camp with the “while you away” event that happens even if you left everything in a wooden house in a safe haven and didn’t die. Poor choice.

Developers please read! :)

Female characters!!? We should be able to choose what gender we would like to be. I enjoy playing this game. I play it on and off depending on new updates. It would be nice to have more missions. Or different events happen, or events that trigger more missions. Hold events for the different seasons. I think there are a bit more things you guys can work like to pay a few extra caps to fast track crafting time would be nice. Or have moments where you can have an ally join for certain periods of times, and help collect items in cities they visit. A few other things but all in all its a good game to pass some time.

Broken

Used to be one of my favorite games. The recent update makes it unplayable.

Day R Survival as a whole was a great game, and when I upgraded to Premium, it was even better! Though I am sad they did away with the old system of saves, i understand they want to make the game more challenging (though I am glad they canceled the old version of the family quest! All the way in Vladivostok). Personally, the storyline is great, the open world is fantastic, and overall, a really good game! But I do have one concern about the story: one part, when you have to retrieve a body from a building, you need a motorcycle, or a car. With the current leveling system, despite an improvement in my eyes, makes getting a motorcycle or car at the stage you need it, practically impossible. I’ve been stuck for over a month, completing survivor camp quests and looking for Dusty Books, but I still need another level to get access to the motorcycle. If they could lower the level required from 38 to maybe 34 or 32, the game could progress so much smoother. Or maybe you could make an event where you are searching a road and something like “What’s this? A working car/motorcycle?!? Well, mostly anyway, but I think I could fix it up.” And then give you a list of materials you need, similar to what you need in the crafting menu, just several levels earlier. Because no way does every single car in a massive country like the USSR stop working because of a fallout. Even with years passing, the cars, even without gas, could still work. Not many, but a few. Besides, if you could build your own car from scratch (with a broken one) I’m sure you can repair one you find that’s mostly working. Just to make it easier on the player so they don’t have to grind for months getting to the appropriate level. Another concern is the fact that vehicles (especially motorized carts) break ridiculously fast. It wouldn’t be such a problem if insulating tape was more common. I understand how valuable it is, but I use a ton just to repair my cart. Even if you lowered the amount needed from five to three or something, gape is insanely rare from what I’ve seen. Not to mention, I’ve probably missed about 50 tape because the tools needed are rare too. I’m glad you have bone glue, but since the only reliable way to get bones is rats or single wolves/lynxes, as the packs are op, then glue is still hard to come by. I’d also love to see, a side from slower vehicle break times and more tape, more ways to get ammunition for guns. Other than military bases, police stations, raiders, and making them yourself with a forge, you can’t (without spending money on caps to buy it). You could also add a few events that don’t do anything. Like when searching a house it comments on the decor or something, or if you want it to do something, while searching a library you could batter down a door and find either books, dusty books, or someone hiding in there. Maybe you could add military outposts or armory buildings to towns. Just one building with soldier bodies, mostly broken guns, and ammo. Those are my main concerns, but still. Day R is a great game. I have a few more suggestions on buildings, like raider outposts scattered around instead of just being in towns or large bases, statues of Soviet leaders like Lenin in Bishkek or Ashgabat (real statues!), nuclear power plants in remote cities, those weird bus stops in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Estonia, a few more types of houses and apartments, possibly more monuments like the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow, the Mother Motherland statue in Ukraine, Hotel Uzbekistan, the Motherland Calls statue, or other monuments in cities besides Moscow, maybe docks along rivers, oceans and the Caspian, and maybe eventually adding more of the map like Tokyo, Beijing, Paris, or even Anchorage, as Alaska isn’t really worth a visit at current (two towns with nothing useful). And I don’t know if it is in the game, but the town of Paldiski in Estonia (worth some research) was taken off the map when the Soviets used it as a submarine base. Who knows, maybe it could be used to add a submarine to the game! Other than that, I would love to see an American version of this, or maybe just focusing elsewhere in the world on a separate game (maybe having a Day R America or Europe or something). That’d be worth it in my opinion. Anyway, if you read it all, thanks, and I hope you take this into consideration. PS. I hope you can add some extra text at the border instead of just stopping you. Like, when you get to the border it says “It’s seems really radiated out there. Way too radioactive, even with a hazmat suit. I better not risk going any farther.” And if you try like, a hundred times, it just goes “Well, screw it. I’m going out. *you walk a into the nuclear winter, within the hour drop dead of radiation poisoning* and then you respawn where you died or wake up from a dream. Idk

Impossibly hard to get any where

What’s the point of spending the time and effort to build stash site and shelters if stuff always goes missing. I mean if you have constructed a cabin shouldn’t it be secured. This game use to be a really great game I like the new combat interface but the Devs have really made the game money oriented it’s a shame really.

Hmm No Fun

Can't use my bandages anymore and the attacks are ridiculous they skip pass traps and attack you no matter where you move to on the map. I have lost my level after days of getting to there to learn I cannot use certain items and make certain things because of this. Not sure the reason to do this and no longer get caps when drinking soda also. Keep being sent back to middle of nowhere and keep dying to the point of level dropping from 18 to 12. This is no longer fun. I won't be wasting money on this game if thats what they want. Caps cost too much. This is virtual currency noway any online objects cost no more than $5 thats for any game.
