Other reviewers have written about this excellent game and it’s all true. I played the free version for quite a while and enjoyed it so, I bought the premium version. I played it a while back and thought it was good game, but the devs completely overhauled the UI and updated the art and turned it into a truly great game; one of the best games I’ve ever played on iOS and they keep improving it!

I keep coming back to this game because it has a good story and some of the best survival playability around. But..... The developers have for years now only made the game harder with each new update but without adding any new abilities or features. They seem to have spent a lot of time and resources on holiday events that are near impossible and then go away. Mean while they keep removing items and abilities to make the game harder. Rechargeable lights - gone, first aide kits - gone, nuclear electric car - gone, radiation no longer dissipates from your character without meds that are difficult to get at best, everything wears out faster with each new update, tank - gone, ability to search slowly in the dark - gone, recipes now require components that have to be found or traded for and the trading posts have moved to be ridiculously far away, the daily thank you rewards that gave you a few minimal supplies - gone, experience levels increase retroactively, caps removed, cap prices increased. So many things have been removed that I am sure I have forgotten some. Worst of all, people who paid for the game used to be able to save the game at restore points in case you got into too much trouble. Iron man was a mode you chose, now it is the only mode. Let’s not even mention that along with dyeing much more often, and not being able to restore a saved game, when you die the system now steals huge amounts of your hard won supplies that you cannot replace. When do we get something new to do? Why can’t we make very basic survival supplies like rope, salt Peter, and just plain salt. So we are suppose to become some kind of survival expert in this game but we never learn to evaporate salt from sea water, or twist rope from grass or extract salt Peter from ashes. Nor do we get to improve our living conditions beyond a certain point. We just slowly lose our stuff and lose out to relentless unending gangs who never seem to run out of weapons or ammunition but never drop enough to sustain you if you kill them. Every new update appeared to be designed to make you buy what you need and now, for some reason, much of those items are not even in the store anymore. Now you buy packs of supplies that may to may not have what you need in them. I keep hoping when I return to the game that there will have been an update that the players like. That has not happened in over a year.

Back then I miss the old leveling up system. It was simple and easy; but I dislike this sudden grind in this game. Buffy bandits with better AI and guns are way more stressful than the old bandits with simple guns and AI. Daily reward system is gone and not worth it anymore. I better this game before the combat update and new leveling system can by. I prefer the old game where things were much easier.

I absolute love this game, I don’t spend ALL my time on it. But it’s reaalllly good. You need to be really careful when it comes to the snakes early on, which is true to real life, snakes are dangerous. Right now I have just me and my Raven and we’re not doing bad. Got my bike earlier and now we’re riding around. It’s a good game, I am pretty much ignoring the story though.

I have had this game for years and at first I didn’t really think it was good, a few years later (now) I started playing it again and I actually made progress and now I realize that this game actually has a lot too it and it’s fun, it’s basically like day z but 2d and faster and easier (unlike dayz you actually understand what to do). one problem I have though is moving, when you click to move and you accidentally click somewhere else you’re character starts going there and wastes like 30 (in game) minutes going in the wrong direction, I think instead you should have to double click to move no matter what.

I played the game for years and I find it really fun! But it’s too bad you guys changed what stuff we can buy with caps. Like back then we could buy great vehicles that would jumpstart us from the beginning. But now its not the case anymore.
