Formerly my favorite all time game

First the good: Dawn of Titans is visually stunning. Was my all time favorite iPad game ever. Battles are fun, though sadly still some glitches still like enemy troops retreating from fear spell to part of map you can’t access or Titans that wander aimlessly or do nothing in battle. Now the bad: Poorly planned or programmed updates periodically make the game mostly unplayable or just plain inaccessible. Latest Throne event update destroyed a few good days of play time. Part of the initial fixes required players to spend gems because the devs didn’t think the effects of the event through. To add insult to injury many of the compensation awards meant to soothe players feelings after they cut the event short never arrived even when claimed. Game feels like it’s increasingly moving towards P2W when it use to not be which is sad. Time for a new game for me.
Aggravating... but fun.

This game has a few things that are very aggravating. Defending the your camp in the campaign battles is very irritating simply because when you order your units to the individual circles before you can order them to stand their ground they’ll lock onto the enemy within a football field’s radius and just run off. If your game happens to crash mid-battle you’ll lose all of the units you used in that battle. Other than those critiques I love this game.

The general app game model now is to put out eye candy games and then everyone dumps their money in. Then they ruin it on purpose so people leave so they don’t have to pay to develop more content. Then the devs and investors move on to the next cash cow for you to pay for.

Great game. To developers: update alliance rules. It’s frustrating when people can join and leave to another any time. Last season, our alliance was number 1 and a lot of people joined. Once the season ended and we got the top prize, majority of the new people just left. Obviously they joined to redeem the top reward but the fact that people can hop from each alliance like that makes alliances honestly pointless.

Game is plagued by bugs and issues. Don’t bother playing if you can’t invest tons of money into the game. To make things worse, a lot of the resources you pay for, will disappear during game crashes. If you’re going to charge this kind of money to play, the least you can do it deliver a product that works. Throne Wars anyone? Overcharge under deliver, that should be the name of the game.

The game is fun and keeps you striving to reach goals. However recently on the iPhone X the game has A LOT OF TOUCH Interface issues. Fix these and back to 5 stars.
