This is the best in it's class. I have used it for two years and has been a lifesaver many times.

Everytime i open it on my ipad it gives me a black screen. On my PCs it occasionally remembers a logon sequence but not often enough to forgo the pile of written down logons and password. Recommend another program or a little notebook to write them down.

I can't say enough how pleased I am with Dashlane. I've been a premium subscriber for 2+ years now and realized how much I take this app for granted. I guess in a way this is a good thing - an app that's basically frictionless and has become so ingrained in my daily work/personal life flow that I forget how simple and GREAT it is. From basic password management to credit card handling it is an essential app for these technologically insecure times.

There are only a few characteristics of a security company/application that are required to be considered "quality". First, you need to follow industry best practices. Dashlane provides no means to change the master password by which all of your data is encrypted. That is, aside from paying for a premium subscription to enable syncing. Unless you're happy with re-entering all of your sensitive personal data into the app again afterward. And yes, this was verified by one of their own support representatives. Second, you need to have good customer support. You should not have to, for instance, write back to customer support telling them to "Please read my question," instead of sending a canned and irrelevant response. And yes, I can understand English from a CSR whose first language was not English. But it does feel like you don't care. It is most disturbing that an application whose sole purpose is to empower people to maximize their security fails to provide a means of changing the master password that secures the master password vault. That is simply fundamentally wrong. I will be switching to 1Password.

Previously had a Norton Protection for my passwords and decided to try this out. I can honestly say I am NOT going back or have ANY interest in finding a new password safe! This app is great!
