Not worth it if I have to pay to use the HSL panel. That’s a basic part of learning to edit. Sadly, I’ll stick to Lightroom until I can find an alternative.

So this app is “free”? Not! You download and open the app and immediately get a screen that says you get one week free and you have to choose some sort of subscription fee before you can even open it the first time. I hate companies that try to force me into agreeing to a subscription before even trying the app. Then I have to remember to delete it or stop payment or maybe fight with the company because they are charging me for something I do not want? Nope. Not. Worth. That. Kind. Of. Hassle. Sticking with Pixelmator Pro. One fee, all features available. No hassle.

Disappointed to see that the app is free only for a week. I'm not a fan of a trial that turns into a recurring charge unless I cancel it. It sounds like a useful app, but I am just deleting it. A week is too short a time for someone like me who would just be an occasional user

the layout of this app is clean. combined with how stable it’s become compared to before, i’m really happy with the app and am considering a subscription in the future. i especially like the feature of adding colored frames to a picture (especially the colors that are chosen from the picture itself) and the little transitions between colors make the overall experience more clean and fun. edit: just one question, some of the pictures will look fine in the app but turn out pixelated when i export them to a camera roll no matter which file type? is there a solution to that?

Darkroom gave life to all my pictures. It made regular pictures I took with my iPhone looks they were taken with a high quality camera

So this app automatically signed me up and charged me 19.99 before I even used it. I don’t know how that’s even possible, I’ve never had this happen after having an iPhone for 10 years. Just be aware if you don’t have 20$ to spend don’t download.
