Wow, I never intended to use this app often, but it has gotten me into the craft of image/video editing. This is a very well, elegantly designed app; it is intuitive and has cool features.

I bought this back when it was still a one time purchase vs a subscription. All I can say is that it is $9.99 I wont get back. All you have to do to see how terrible it is is play with the shadow/highlight sliders. They don't recover any detail at all. In fact they obscure it. If this was only limited to jpeg and heif I could understand it, but even raw photos are treated this way. Most all of the editing tools are very destructive. Save yourself money and buy the massively superior app Pixelmator Photo. It's a one off purchase of $3.99 and is actually worth more.

This program has everything readily available and it is the adjustments are easy to find. It does the job and it is not like a wild goose chase hunting for applicable tools. Good job. I will be purchasing it!

My go to editor . It’s crazy I’ve got to cull all these damned apps . I can’t afford all the subscriptions. Although this app usually does not cost after you buy it, with the problem of hurting one companies feelings ( do they have any? ) I’m sure they do , but for the money and the fact that FilicPro, , Remote & their camera app are bundled, every-time I open it they upgrade it to the newest version . So eat that Adobe. That and the fact that I have the Zhuhai Smooth 4 it has an upgrade and firmware upgrade that keeps it compatible with The gimbal. . I also believe that even with so many variables, FILMIC PRO BUNDLE IS THE MOST LIKELY ONE APP WHICH I WILL DEDICATE MY PHOTO/ VIDEO AND USE LUNAFUSION FOR EDITIng. Sorry you all are good and any one of the top players are in the running , FILMIC PRO seems to have the most for the least $ . Sorry Camera +, I’ll try and keep current as long as you hold me the owner of the software. NES pas?

The UI on Darktable is fantastic. It’s sleek and feels good to slide everything around. It’s not lacking in any photo editing features either. The one complaint I have is importing photos from external sources. It’s very clunky. Sometimes I have to hit import 3 times before it actually does anything, and other times it just does nothing at all. PLEASE fix this, I don’t want to use lightroom anymore.

For a paid app, the extent to which this app simply doesn’t work is extraordinary. When it works it’s a great app for editing RAW photos but I literally haven’t been able to edit anything in weeks (yes I’ve checked if the app needs an update; it doesn’t). And they want me to download the premium version for extra features?! Ha. As if. Maybe that’s the version that isn’t continuously crashing.

I’m sitting in an airport in Mexico I have a four hour layover actually it’s more like a delay. I started tinkering around with my phone And shopping some of my shots. I have used several different photo apps primarily Snapseed and iPhone’s, but I have to say I’ve been playing around with this app and I am absolutely loving it! It’s super easy has lots of interesting features and I’m just getting started??
