Dark Incursion is a side scrolling, hack and slash game that combines the old school pixel art with the stereoscopic 3D experience. It takes place in an alternate reality in the late 1800’s, amidst an industrial revolution and a world war. The player is the character, Anya, who is one of the few who know about a secret military laboratory developing biological weaponry that could devastate the entire planet if it got out of control.
In Dark Incursion, players have a multitude of bio-engineered weapons at their disposal with which to eradicate the abominations from the city. Weapon and ability upgrades will get more powerful the deeper players get and the more advanced the monsters become.

A fun new metroidvania style game.

The developers have done a nice job fixing the controls to make the game fun to play. Now the only problem is the game is way too short, you can blow through the game and beat it in an hour if you want to. So now the deveopers badly need to add more content to make this game longer especially if they expect people to buy IAP.

The initial control scheme was cumbersome, but I see why they had it that way; the joystick didn't get in the way of "searching" items in the bottom-left corner of your screen, but it does now. Still, a great improvement made in short order by the devs. The game felt incomplete in that it was short, NOT that it was poorly executed; it had a great atmosphere and the difficulty scaled brilliantly throughout. There are areas you cannot yet unlock, suggesting that there are more levels AND more fuses with which to unlock them coming in the future. What impressed me most is that the "would you like to review?" message that popped up at the end did NOT take me here; instead, it led me to my mail app, where I could send my feedback directly to the devs. Big Blue Bubble has my support, and I have no doubt in my mind that the 4* rating I'm giving today will be a 5* update when the next update (presumably with the next few levels) comes along!

The pin sharp dot art makes for crisp imagery with lovingly crafted detail. The game makes you think, it makes you angry (Bollocks! I looked everywhere! Ohh I can get up THERE?) it makes you shoot robots in the groin, Steampunk style. The fuses are a nice way to deal with weapon, defense and intelligence upgrade management. But the stereo mode, the Bubblinis really nailed it there. One tip, use an anachome pair of glasses, they give you the cleanest view even with the more heavily ghosted items like popover menus. I really hope Big Blue Bubble uses the first round of revenue to get a proper poster art done, hand painted, oil or acrylics. Like the classic Castlevania ones. Epic and larger than life. Orchestral soundtrack would be nice too in a later update. Sample libraries have gotten so good lately that it should be possible with a small group of real singers and soloists.

Great game so far! But it keeps crapping out on me after I get ahold of the speed increase fuse.Game just shuts down : ( I'm running it on the iPhone 4 with ios5. Please fix this issue-I'd love to continue playing it

theres depth perception added with the 3d effect and it works perfect and no stress on the eyes all you need is regular red/blue paper glasses (easy to find online for like 2$ or cheaper)
