Needs work!

The developers wanted to be clever with this one, adding on things that need to be turned, or moved. The problem is that they didn't do a good job of allowing the player to pick up and turn or move the objects. I gave up trying to move the key parts, though I've done that type of puzzle many times before. I would try to chose a piece to move, but it won't move, but another part might move that I hadn't chosen! Wow! Putting the puzzle pieces into a frame was okay IF you could tap the piece and move it to the arrows. The same problem happened with the pieces to another puzzle. I found the missing pieces, brought them to the puzzle and tried to get them to turn. When I got them to the arrows, they'd jump back to where they had been. It took several minutes to get just one piece in place! The "find the knives" puzzle was pretty lame, too. Lots of moving around for no apparent reason. Could be a good game, I think, but it isn't. Back to the drawing board, guys. You've got lots of work to do! And, I'm glad to see BF bring back the trial games! I bet they were losing lots of sales! I know I wouldn't buy without trying first. I wonder if they fired the genius who came up with that idea! Now, let's get back to producing quality games. I don't need the "clever" twists to the puzzles. I just want a game that's fun and glitch free!

This could have been a good game, but had WAY too many glitches. I played the free trial but did not buy.

Dark Dimensions - For Lynx Minx

I wrote & posted this 1/23/17 but have no idea why it's not showing up! No rats!!! No fun, no achievement, no journal, no logic, no character building, no sense in purchasing this one. I wasted my money, you shouldn't. I have been away for the past couple of years & now playing catch up. I ALWAYS read Lynx Minx, Darcy, Izzyoc, and Kim Twilight's review first. Should have waited on this on, as I know y'all will advise us to pass on this piece of garbage. I have missed the Dream Team and look forward to reading from them before I purchase any more games! Sure miss some of the old DTers...Hossryder, Snooper to name a couple. Luck and happy wishes to all! -Jo?

Not worth it - even at a discount

I'm 3/4 through and there is a puzzle piece that is made missing (note it's not that I couldn't find it, once I gathered the pieces it split into a jigsaw and one piece is gone). Can't move on with this piece; have tried all tips and nothing helps. Not worth reloading and starting over, as others have mentioned the story is blah and some take several tries to use.

Blade master

Was very disappointed in this game. Would not let me finish bonus game. Ended up deleting it

Hi, Izzyoc! I have nothing else to do but I have a feeling my review will echo yours. I think BigFish had better get their act together. I wanted to know what you think we can do about getting more than 2 games a week in this genre from BigFish. Seriously! Especially since usually only one game might be worth playing. At least we got trials back. For now! It's sad really that Daily Magic could have made this into a 5 star game, but they absolutely missed the mark. I agree with Catalina, Izzyoc and KimTwilight. There were some good points. You could customize settings, the graphics were beautiful in a bizarre way, the storyline was a bit different. You had a gimmick, which was the dagger box. Inventory was labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble. There was a marked teleport map to use, inconveniently located in your journal. The HO scenes were mostly use one object to unlock another one. I didn't get RATS but poor Dracyy got spiders and hornets! Unfortunately some of the most important details we want in a game were sorely lacking. This was not a long game, but it was made to seem longer because of the lag using the diary/map. Loading was not instantaneous between locations and there was an annoying lag to open the diary in order to access the map. In addition, the inventory was of the "leaping" type, which drives me almost to insanity, and we do not want a crazy Lynx! Games are so advanced at this point that loading should always be instantaneous between location, the transport map should function perfectly and the inventory should remain in its place until you actually need to use it. Another feature that I was not happy with was the puzzles/mini-games. They were unoriginal and there were many puzzles of the boring rotational sort, and they have been done to death! I could care less about morphing objects, which were puzzle pieces that were very difficult to manipulate at the end. In addition you could tell that English was not the primary language spoken by the developer, and that is obnoxious to me. Daily Magic needs to update their games to have instantaneous loading and a normal inventory bar. Their games seem dated when in reality they are not. Big Fish, you can do a lot better than this! Hopefully the next game will be a good one. Lynxie sends ?❤? to the amazing DTE! Your reviews regarding this game were "en pointe"! My final rating is 3 stars; average rating for an average game.

OK, I guess but . . .

So far . . . So good

Trying game on a trial and probably won't purchase it. Graphics are not the best on my iPad. A lot of flickering and freezing. When trying to pick an object, sometimes you only have to be close or tap it a few times. Would appreciate labels or some way to identify what's in your inventory. Hard to know. Well back to the trial to see if it gets better.

I rate it 5 stars and give it an A+ for the Auburn University references.

No More $ From Me

As soon as I purchased this game, I lost the code from the inventory. I'm not going to re-boot, re-start or re-load, or anything else. I'm tired of dealing with these lousy, sub-par, glitchy, sluggish games. Good-bye, Big Fish.

Interesting

Some of the puzzles seem to hard or tedious. Otherwise holds one's attention
