Be honest in the description and tell people that it has a trial period and you’re going to have to pay it after.

This WAS an amazing app; however, like what happened in the recent notability fiasco, this developer decided to shift to a subscription model. While that’s understandable, the shift is a requirement for previous users as well. You lose all previously accessible features like “enable dark mode to every website,” “website images support brightness adjustment,” and “multiple dark mode themes”. I found this out after installing it on another phone and tested it by deleting the app and reinstalling it on my iPad. The restore purchase button gives a “x.” So, don’t ever delete this app if you got it before the change! If you plan on buying or will be receiving (Xmas!) a new iPhone or iPad, you’re out of luck. At least there’s a “limited” 1 time purchase. Btw, removing features from previous users is actually against the App Store Review Guideline 3.1.2(a). The decision to ignore previous users is really unfortunate. Unless the dev does something to rectify this issue, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. Maybe “neo noir -dark mode for safari” for free app or “dark reader for safari” for paid

Luckily I've been able to avoid updating ever since I saw the "enabled the paid model" update. It's too bad too, since this was a 5-star app, but now I can never press "update all" in my apps again...

I don’t thing that I saw anywhere on the description of the app that there was only a trial version. I thought it was permenant.

Works fine, but I cannot imagine spending money on an extension.

This is a very amazing FREE browser extension. There is another dark mode extension called “Noir” which you have to pay $2.99 for and it isn’t that much money to pay for but I don’t see why I should have to buy dark mode for safari. If anyone else sees this rating, please rate this so that it is more known and maybe this can make its way onto the extension chart, compared to “Noir” which is #8 on the list currently.

Would you please make this app available on M1 macs

The best dark browser extension I’ve tried so far. Simple, customizable (and very easy to customize), easy to turn it off and back on when it doesn’t work as intended. And best of all it comes with a try before you buy and a reasonable price. I got the lifetime for $4.99 on sale. Why wouldn’t I?

until i had to pay, i rather have a good free option taht works, but a paid version that adds extra customization. now it’s just not the same and i cant pay so now i have no dark browser
